The Root cause why Undine Infiltration Elite fails

stuart1965stuart1965 Member Posts: 691 Arc User
So often in Undine Infiltration Elite it fails, because some players are either too lazy to read the clues, or they do not understand them.
There are some players who do not fluently understand english, and i think its those who misunderstand what is said in the clues.
Any team I am in doing this mission, I always offer to do the answers myself, so we are guaranteed a win.
Those who ignore this and don't read or understand the clues will fail the whole team.

My fails have usually been because of the stupid until DR optional becuase you have to suddenly run half way across the map and hope an Undine doesn't so much a sneeze on the orb.

This is why, at the start of every UIE, I ask that if anyone is unsure about the answers to the questions, they leave them to the rest of the team, and go defend the orb or put out fires.

Of course, that still won't help if you get someone who doesn't speak a lick of English or someone who is an outright troll, but I found that my UIE success rate went up by 100% after I started doing this.

Again, since I ask people who can't do, or don't want to bother with, the questions to defend the Orb, there are usually one or two people hanging around near it in my runs.

Also, if you're an Engineer, you can put down a Cover Shield roughly in front of where the Orb Priest spawns, as well as lay down all kinds of defenses, before the random event actually happens. Or even ask any Engineers you get on your team to do so (I find that a few do so on their own anyway).
"There will never be enough blood to wash away my need for vengeance! A single world...I could destroy a million worlds and it would not be enough! Your existence is an insult to the memory of my people! I will continue my fight, even if I must fight alone!"

Its actually a very easy elite mission (if no one screws up the questioning). I like it a lot, because the undine are very straight forward enemies. The omega auto carbine turns them into mince meat.
I have a lot of fun blowing away the undine in this one (mind you I do it in premade groups).
It has become one of my favorite ground pve's.
Used to be Mine Trap, but that hasn't popped since last year :p

Besides ESD Chat. This is the one STF that so many trolls come in. It seems like everytime but once that someone puts a cover sheild over the end portion of the mission or just sits there on a bench or writes nasty things in the chat box. I don't even do this mission anymore.

The team I was on did that one time and it still didn't work.

And its not a lack of interest becuase the rest of the team does show up to defend the orb.
