Revamp?

I've read 'somewhere' (I really can't remember) that the foundry would be having an overhaul at some point. Is there any truth to this?

I'd chuck this one as just a rumor. The Foundry is such a complicated system, with over 80,000 missions in it, that a complete revamp would be extremely difficult without throwing everything out. We see the occasional batch of assets or once in a blue moon, a new feature, but a revamp would require far more dev time that the developers can reasonably dump into a secondary feature like the Foundry.

We did just get the Top 3 system, which is a pretty big deal for Foundry mission discovery. Perhaps this is what you heard about.

If you notice the dates on the references, those are from very old posts. And they were often just chatting about things they might like to do someday.

I'd like to think that with the Top 3 system garnering much more player attention, we might get some scheduled time for something, but with us coming dead last in the poll, i'm much less hopeful.

I suppose we have to appreciate what Cryptic has given us so far, the foundry itself has opened up a lot of new possibilities.
