No Chat System and other issues now...

Logged in, all the custom channels I had been part of are now gone. Including Zone chat. All that I see now is Local chat and even that's not working. My entire friends list and ignore list are completely gone. Search shows nobody in the game even though I'm standing next to several people. WTH did you do Cryptic?!

    The fact that the chat service is down was said on Twitter and Facebook.... why the whole social page is down, I have no idea...probably linked to the chat service

    Normally I'm happy to point out when Cryptic doesn't keep us informed about these issues, or only posts their information on Facebook/Twitter/Reddit.

    On the plus side, I've been in for nearly a quarter of an hour now, and nobody's tried to sell me EC or master keys at low low prices. So, y'know, swings and roundabouts. And ESD is a lot nicer in general, really.

    11 mins into play and crash!!! server down big surprise they really need to clean house on this game and fire the lot of them this is darn near every week sence oct were putting up with this .:mad:

    Chat gone, friends list gone, 3 disconnects before i can finish anything....*sigh*:(


    If only the game had gone out of business before i got the life time membership i would not feel obligated to play

    I login after 6 hours downtime and get dc after 5 minutes. Not amused.

    Lately i wonder why i even expect to get any playtime on maintenance day.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    got booted and wont let me back in.

    Yep, same here. And lag on ESD was beyond horribad.

    I only mentioned zone chat because it wasn't working either. No reason to start taking meaningless potshots. That's all, hopefully the game is back up sometime today. If a mod is on please close this before it goes any further.

    I found the perfect workaround to that, I turned off zone chat. I talk in local, and with guild mates, that's it.

    Without in-game chat you can't work together properly in STFs and you can't chat to your friends.

    I'm guessing that the people who don't mind chat being down, don't do either of those things anyway.

    Does anyone have a list of people responsible for this? We NEED NOW a list so we know who to sue for not being able to play! This is a CLEAR violation of my constitutional rights!

    Maybe because they do not know? If they give an ETA and it takes longer then people get mad for it taking longer.
