Airlocking Nemo Jones

Ok, I get it. Haha, look at the Tribbles on the conference table.... again. Seriously that prick has gone from a slightly silly half-canon semi-toilet joke to a mayor annoyance in a week and a year later the most positive reaction I heard about him is "Don't care" and that almost went under the massive "wish we had never slotted this damnable project".

Its like that one special guy that always tells you the same lame joke all over again and courtesy demands you to always listen to it. No, hes worse because he tells it every 10 minutes from the beginning if you dare to tell him to shut up or just wont stop talking it if you don't.

Sorry for the rant but even the rare times I visit the base now makes me roll eyes & curse every time because of this waste of bytes that pollutes the main social SB area with his tribble filth.

Agreed. I remember that we missed it the first time around because we had another project selected, and then hearing that it was really bad and no-one liked it. I told the rest of the leaders that if it came back around to not bother with it, but between then and when it did come back we added a new leader and they slotted it. :( I wish that it was default off and that you could talk to him to turn it on.

At the risk of asking a dumb question - what are you talking about?

That highlighted part; that would have been the best ever if the devs had went that route!

A NPC/Project that constantly spawns Tribbles on the Fleet Starbase.

Besides RPer doing RP stuff, and fleet partying once a year, is there anyone going to fleet SB for something else than buying stuff ?

I was in mine like once per character, perhaps twice. Saw the NPC, thought "OK, this guy is for the tribble". Forgot him 5m later (I have a good memory, otherwise I would have forgotten him faster).

Fleet SB are, IMO, just as useful than the Captain's Table. With added stores. It's pretty from the outside, you go there once for the lol, and never back again.

once you complete all the DOFF levels (development, diplomatic, etc), for every 10K over the 100K, you can go to the FSB and turn in "reports" of each and get fleet marks.

One of the fleets I'm in holds "meetings" there to keep out of the way wandering players at some of the other meeting places.

I also like to use it to quickly get to and from the FSB, embassy, and dil mine without ever leaving the sector space I was originally located.

While currently we don't we used to hold regular fleet meetings at the SB which does not require to be a RP thing. Try it, its different to be face to face at the same table even if its just digital. Also a great way to introduce ppl new to the fleet on such meetings.

But besides that you are a perfect sample of the "don't care" group. Which is fine since this is part of the games content you use at best to a bare minimum & probably have not or also at your personal bare minimum been involved in spending dil for SB fluff.

SB Projects like that get pushed by ppl that do care about that content which for them inevitable also means they care if somebody poops tribbles all the time all over the place.

Maybe to relate better imagine that every 10 minutes or so your ships hull gets covered by tribbles. Just a visual; no negative on game mechanics. Only way to get rid of it is to call Nemo Jones (every 5-10 min before first spawn appears again) and tell him to get rid of it.
