What Exactly does it do? Is it really that simple that if your accuracy is high you hit more and miss less?
And whats affecting it? I noticed that my accuracy sometimes goes down a lot. Usually i get an Acc bonus of 32, in the undine Battlezone i just had 18, then i switched ships twice, went back into the zone (with the same ship as before) now my Acc was back to32
And also if i use the nukara particle converter or the hydrodynamic compensator my Accuracy bonus doesn´t change but if i use the bioneural gelpacks my acc bonus is increasing. But i thought the Nukara converter and the Compensator were supposed to boost accuracy

More Accuracy can increase your chance to hit, but the formula isn't a straightforward one. It's also possible to go over 100% to hit, which results in Accuracy Overflow which boosts Critical Hit Chance and Critical Severity/Damage. Accuracy Overflow does not occur in situations with an autohit component (Torp Spread is 100% to hit, so no Acc Overflow - FAW has an autohit component in regard to target selection even though the shot can still miss, but that target selection means no Acc Overflow).

The zone is a level 50 zone...various stats will appear lower than if you are in a level 60 zone, though without additional information/looking into - couldn't really say if that's what is happening there.

The Nukara console adds Beam Accuracy, that's not going to display in your listed Bonus Accuracy since that's all of your Accuracy - you have to calculate the Beam Accuracy separately, along the lines of if you had an [Acc] mod on the weapon.
The Gel Packs should not increase your Accuracy...there's no Accuracy bonus from that console. It's +Power, +ShieldCapacity, -BOFFAbilityRecharge. The Hydrodynamic provides a boost to Starship Targeting Systems and should improve overall Accuracy.

I know the Zone is a Lvl 50 zone, but that doesn´t change. What changed was my accuracy, from 32 to 18 and then back up. With the same build
And the Gel console dich change my accuracy , it added +3 or so to the accuracy, if i took it off the +3 were gone. I have no idea why.
So you are saying that therecan be more than 100% accuracy? Is 32-28 too low with a Crit chance of 19 and a Crit severity of 100,2%?

put a set of accx3 phasers on your ship run and parse a few missions
put a set of crtHx3 on it do the same thing scan results
you wont put the Accx3s back on your ship
I did this when you could buy the Accx3 phasers for 50k on the exchange...Meh

The # indicated in your [ACC] is called an accuracy bonus, as to your base accuracy it is naturally a 95-100%.
The system may have been adjusted over time but, it used to be that your base acc (95-100%) + bonus acc (32) and, any [acc] mods from weapons would battle against a player(s) defense value, resulting in a final outcome of possible accuracy and, how often you would hit someone!
Again, they may or, may not have made adjustments to this system!
Space trait? Nope. Advanced Trargeting Systems, Precision, Enhanced Rending Shots and Enhanced Armor Penetration
Trying to think of what the Gel Packs could possibly have to do with Accuracy, since Accuracy wouldn't come from the console nor set bonuses. Then again, the +Pwr from it wouldn't have been +3 Accuracy, anyway.
Slotting, unslotting, reslotting the Bio-Neural Gel Pack has absolutely zero effect on my Bonus Accuracy. Stays at +15.0%.
If I drop in the Nukara Aux Offense trait, lol, it takes it from 18.9% to 19.0% when I slot the Gel Packs.
If I remove the Nukara Aux Offense trait, and slot a VR13 Hydrodymanic on the other hand - it takes it from 15% to 17.8%.
If you had a better Hydro, it almost sounds like the +3% you're talking about is coming from the Hydrodynamic rather than the Gel Pack.

I can guarantee you, thats not the case. i tried it with and without the Hydro: No change for me
With and without the Gel Pack: +/- 3

Hi VD; do you know if CSV benefits/or not, from Acc overflow?

There's a spreadsheet for it (along with Big Red's explanation) that can be found here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=218273
One of the dev's covered the same info here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=19486041&postcount=42

You're running the Nukara Auxiliary Power Configuration - Offense Reputation Trait, yeah?
Don't need much Accuracy when NPCs are grabbing their ankles...
