Wouldn't it be cool if we got those?
They could have powers that boost defense, debuff accuracy, improve maneuvering, grant hold resistances, and such.
They should take the second highest tac slot on all ships and if you don't have 2 then its the highest or the highest universal slot.
I'm thinking things like evasive patterns and violent maneuvers. Maybe even fake out ramming speeds ala insurrection.
What do you think?
