What is the Arc Client?
Install Arc

Which you please fix the dumb login server for once...

I'm so sick of having so many connection issues with the game for the last month or 2. I keep getting Server Not Responding, Connecting to Account Server, Connecting to Login server......and then timed out!

Not to mention the other problems that have came with Delta Rising...

Was having this issue as well. Turns out it was coming from the UPnP advertisement period settings in my router. Once I turned off the UPnP on my router, this stopped for me. Worth a try to see if it works for you.

I've been experiencing lag and random crash to desktop with the occasional bonus of random disconnects since the Anniversary patch. In my case I know it is not any UPnP in my router/firewall. My firewall is a Juniper Netscreen SSG-5 and UPnP isn't even available if you wanted it (and UPnP seems to be a bad idea to me anyway).

Lag and DC's I can tolerate so long as it's demonstrably not STO's fault. The CTD is definitely a STO issue and was (in my case) definitely an added feature of the Anniversary patch. :(

The CTD is annoyingly a heisenbug. I cannot force it to reproduce. Sometimes it's just a "Program has stopped responding" and other times it's a full *poof* of the client. And it isn't tied to time online, map changes or maps.

I doubt the issue is related to UPnP as well. I'm starting to get CTDs too since last week's patch.

Seems like for you guys UPnP may not be the culprit. Have been working with my ISP for a year now on this problem and just a few weeks ago is when we discovered what I explained earlier. Have not had the problem since. Hopefully a solution shows itself for you.
