Lanuch issues??

im not sure where to put this post, but i have been playing STO for years with little issues. Recently ive had to factory reset my laptop and redownload all my updates and drivers now STO will only lunch in safe mode anytime i try to lunch it normally it freezes and stops responding, when i load up in safe mode i can adjust the settings back to where i normal play at and it works fine... Any ideas what i should try?
