have i been give a chat ban

hi i have not played in a few mouths now when i log in i cant see other ppl chat and ppl cant see my chat have i been give a chat ban if so how can i get it off i cant play a game if i cant chat

    try these things:

    /whitelist_chat on (type it in chat)

    press O, then the 'team settings' tab. then press the privacy button in the lower right. set 'allow on friends and fleet to chat to OFF and click done. if it is already set to OFF, set it to ON and click done, then go back and change it to OFF again and click done.

    these 2 things usually fix unexpected chat issues.
