Command BOff Slots

So am I to understand correctly that a lot of us (well okay some of us) paid money in the past what... month or so... for good new T6 ships for the Intel Specilization slots... which we now can't use for Command Specilization Slots... and if we want to use Command BOffs abilities we have to get the new ships and only the new ships... because they can't be slotted in the INtel BOff slots... or am I missing something?

    Sounds about right.

    That said, it's really not that bad. Your captain specialization functions regardless of ship; the ships with specialization BOff stations just have a different set of options than the others. Command isn't better than Intelligence because it's new; it's different because (forgive the tautology) it's not the same. Yeah, you kinda get hosed if you bought an Intel ship and now think you'd rather have a Command ship, but if you think of them as simply two different options you'd enjoy equally, then your Intel ship will serve you just as well as a newfangled Command ship.

    Yeah but I'm kind of curious on how hard it would have been to simply say... change the intel/hybrid slots into "specilization hybrid slots" that you can slot any specilization boff skill into of that rank and not make them specilization specific

    In space, intel. BOff powers > command BOff powers.
    On ground, command BOff powers > intel. BOff powers.

    Keep your intel. ships, and get command BOffs for ground. :D
