I'm a little confused by the BHE rewards buff, as far as I can tell it's already one of the most played ground games. It's insane easy, with most groups, and it reliably gave delta rep gear tokens (ancient power cells) more than anything else. as well as salvaged tech.
The only reason I don't play it 24/7 anymore is the que is all worn out for me, after I got my delta rep gear I was exhausted playing that thing. This is probably true for others. Once I got my last bit of gear, I was like "ok, time for BHE break time".
EDIT: some of the other buffs are nice to see, like nukara self destruct, atmo assault, and crystal needed a difficulty buff
LOL only reason I run it is the Salvage, oh and I'll probably grab a Bio-Neural Gel Pack at some point. Rest is meh. Not a fan of the Armour, the Ship components are mostly not what I need in an Escort so I'll just take the Salvage thanks.
Chris Robert's on SC:
"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."
Apparently it was actually under-rewarding for Delta Marks. Sure, "I've got a sandwich" and all - where it's felt like Delta Marks are raining 24/7 around me, heh - but some folks don't seem to have that particular issue and the issue of the number of Marks it gives was brought to their attention/corrected.
I've only ran it on my engie for salvage mostly because it seemed like the only instance PuG's didn't fail it regularly every time I joined. Wither that is a good or bad thing over all doesn't matter to me. I just know it was something I could join and not get booted out of five seconds later because some timer or condition wasn't met and the whole thing shuts down while I get stuck waiting for another try bored out of my mind.
I miss the old elites, yeah you fail an optional objective you took a reward hit but at least you could finish and feel like you accomplished something if you kept at it and learned more about the instance at that difficulty. Today's instances with their timers and lockouts regardless of success just make them unfriendly to play.

but, the optional fail thing has grown on me, I don't know why, I'm not elitist and feel no need to trash others.
I think, because it wakes people up, it makes people pay attention just a tiny bit instead of just completely random button mashing - these hurdles are completely modest, and without them it's just a boring snoozefest
Before marveling at this I would wait to meet the new and improved spawnmother. If my guess is correct I will say "I informed you thusly."
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
I'd assume that it's because it's somewhat easy and casual a lot of people that aren't geared for elite play it. Because of this it has a higher fail rate than other harder missions that casuals wont go near.
NTTE was pretty bad after DR as well but most the casuals realized that unless they managed to land one of the top ground players on their team they'd just fail the mission so it became inefficient for them to leech on.
Also as an Elite ground STF player I avoid bug hunt because the time:reward ratio was terrible even if it is easier.
If it were up to me I'd change the final room and require the secondary on elite but allow you to kill the mother first. In general I think the final room could work a lot better with some changes but I don't think Cryptic cares about receiving input from players.

The change to the Queen hit point is likely to affect the difficulty of the mission, and so what may seem like a buff to rewards may be (over)compensated by the change.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
I actually still don't see bug hunt in my PVE list even though I am 60. I am thinking there was a prerequisite, but I have avoided most DR stuff so I wouldn't know.
No, I am not who you think I am. I am someone different. I am instead a banana.

You have to complete the story mission 'The Dragons Deciet' for it to appear.
"Why all the sales"?
And a merry freaking Christmas to you too, Ebenezer.

BHE is one of the few Qs that is troll proof that is why it is popular and deserves its buff
It is also pugable while most other content is not
The borg STFs have been ruined with troll fail mechanics so they are not enjoyable as they once were
Remove the fail mechanics would greatly improve the other pve Qs
Devs please ( PUG ) your content

JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse
They should fix Lt. Vanderveer before and/or meanwhile "fixing" the spawnmother.
He often bugs out and takes ages to "fire in the hole!" ... moreover, listen to what happened in BHE I've run yesterday ...
We get rid of the first wave, then right when the second wave spawns, we all shoot the concussive tachyon wave ... Lt. Vanderveer faints ... like he doesn't say a word and do anything, totally stuck.
We thought "ok, reform and let's try again"
We followed the same routine and the same thing happened.
Too much DPS killed him? lol

2. The enemy HP fix supposedly makes it harder.

Well, there you go. Okay, I may go blindly complete that mission then. Most of the DR stuff I find ridiculously boring.
