Ok, so it looks like we are starting. For this one I am going to do something different. Each of you will be trapped in space on your ships that have lost power. Your objective is to restore power and get to the nearest starbase which is 120 light years away and you only have minimal warp.

    This scenario applies to everyone:

    Restart power on your ships.

I try and figure out why I don't have power so I can try and fix it.

"Unexplained power failure, regenerate primary plasma conduits 2 and 4." The voices of the Collective said, issuing orders to the drones. Maintenance drones quickly cut apart walls with plasma cutter prosthetics, injecting repair nanites into the conduits. These machines would seek out damaged sections, attaching themselves together to form new parts.

Being an intelligent man, I take out my PADD, open up "Warp Core Repair for non-Engineers", and attempt to repair my ship.

    (Also, what kind of ship?)

You may have any ship of your choice from your respective faction.

    .

It looks like everyone has fixed their engines so we are moving on to the next scenario.

Worffan: you are able to restore main power to your ship and engines but can't acess the long range sensors. Using the short range sensors however, you can detect an uncharted nebula that could reduce the amount of time it takes you to get home if you go through it. What do you do?

aiurdae: your sensors detect an ion storm heading in your direction. If you go around it then you risk taking your ship too close to a nearby black hole. Three lightyears on the opposite side of the storm, there is a quasar. (It looks like a whole bunch of stars blew up in this area:eek:) What do you do?

westex: you restore main power and get your sensors online. You detect an unidentified vessel heading your way. What do you do?

Me: I get the engines online and set a course to the nearest ship on sensors.

Rooster: you find yourself in a nebula with a borg vessel inbound! What do you do?.

Alright, so I'm using a Romulan Kestrel-class runabout, with full Romulan weapons and shield/engine/deflector sets.

I proceed cautiously, being sure to check the sensors regularly.

(Borg Tactical Cube with all the standard equipment on a vessel of it's class.)

A rumble passes through the Tactical Cube as the power grid reactivates, restoring the sensor feed to the drones controlling the vessel via their alcoves. "Class 5 ionic anomaly inbound, engaging adaptive scanners." The Collective voices said as they scanned the anomaly, the shields and armor plating of the massive vessel adapting themselves to best withstand the storm. The cube would then sit still as the drones worked on regenerating the transwarp coils.

Aiurdae: judging by what you wrote, I'm guessing your still just sitting there, so the storm passes over you and damages your transwarp coil even further.

Worffan: you enter the nebula and find a class M planet with possible lifeforms and the posibility of dilithium crystals to keep your ship going. What do you do?

Westex: the vessel appears to be a Breen Chel Grett warship (me) and they respond to your hail.
    Wanna say anything to them?

    Awaiting rooster's response.

OoC: Okay Im in a vaadwaur artillery vessel outfitted with the delta alliance set and of course vaadwaur polarons.

I reply: Can you assist us with repairs? Our long range sensors are broken.

Scan results: CLASS M. OXYGEN NITROGEN ATMOSPHERE. PRIMITIVE SAPIENT SPECIES. LARGE ANIMALS. LARGE DILITHIUM DEPOSITS ON NORTHERN CONTINENT.

All of gained 20 lightyears btw 100 LY to go.

The universal translators seem to be down however my Breen make no provoking action.

I land in an isolated area of the northern continent, as far from large life-signs as possible while still close to a surface dilithium deposit, grab a laser drill out of the back, and head out after locking and cloaking my ship (keying it to a starter chip that I put in my pocket).

I tell you that I understand and that I'm beaming aboard your ship.

And with that I am going to do the dishes, take a shower, watch a DS9 and turn in. We will continue in the morning (or night depending on where you guys are).

I go to the transporter room to greet you while modifying a combadge to translate my words into Morse code for easier translation. I also lower the temperature a bit despite that its unlikely for you to notice with your suit on.

You sucessfully extract n the necessary dilithium and begin to head back to your ship when you feel the ground shake. You then look up at your cloaked ship only to find a large crustacean-like creature moving towards it. You take a few scans of it but its armor seems to reflect them. What do you do?

I beam aboard your ship along with four officers. They are carrying weapons and neural truncheons but you also notice that they are carrying tool kits.

Do I have the rest of my crew?

If I do, then I'm in my Borgified patrol escort, the U.S.S. Janeway.

If not, I guess I'll take a Delta Flier.

I raise my shields and set a course to go around the cube.

*whispers* Maybe if I'm quiet, it won't notice me...
