Good Morning, Good evening or Good afternoon :-D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5EWiHtPSPM&feature=youtu.be

Problem since a hotfix on January the 4th

The text "Server not responding" keeps poping up for half a second
every 6 to 7 seconds like clockwork

and it makes the game unplayable

no disconnects
no time outs

and everything takes about very long to load NPC standing still, and appearing at other postions

the Game got a brand new and complete re-download and installation because of that problem

and "No" it has nothing to do with the servers or my connection
the problem is somewhere in MY Computer

i took the 12,3 GB and copied it to my USB Stick and tried the game on other PC´s
and Notebooks and even Netbooks in the same Network, with the same router and the same Connections even the same IP

and the Game was running on ALL of them without any probleme
but MY PC keeps doing that ... it is like my PC allowing STO only a limited Data amount once excactly every few seconds ...

Because i am not very good with my explanations i made a video
with my selfphone Camera to simply show the problem to you

(again) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5EWiHtPSPM&feature=youtu.be

Thank you for trying to help me

    -Solved-Solved-Solved-Solved

ANTIVIR PRO - s causing the problem
    ( which i am paying for ) i

Start the Computer in SAVE MODE - with network Drivers

    start STO
tested the Game - EVERYthing worked perfektly

PC restart - startet STO - Problem reappeared

To switch off AntiVir DOES NOT WORK
I had to De-Install the hole Programm

since then Star Trek Online runs perfectly

But i pay for my "AntiVir Pro" and i don´t want to NOT have a Anti-Virus Program on my Computer

    lol... Avira again :)

Maybe you can exclude the STO directory from real time scanning.... and check, if the Avira Pro has some firewalling function which can be turned off.
