Speaking of torps, do particle gens affect the dmg of the Grav Torp? Someone in the DPS channels said its Small Gravimetric Rifts count as pets, and are thus not affected by player skill.
As per testing that I did, that person would be correct. Also, that's something I recall bort saying as well.

This report has led to us tracking down and fixing a Firing Priority bug. This was, unfortunately, affecting all Torpedoes in the same way.
Prior to the fix, Torpedo Mode priority was incorrectly set as:
- Photonic Shockwave Torpedo
- Emission-Seeking Torpedo
- Transport 1
- Transport 2
- Transport 3
- HY 1
- HY 2
- HY 3
- Spread 1
- Spread 2
- Spread 3
- Basic Firing Mode
How these priorities work, is that the system checks which mode is active, starting at the top. For the first one that is TRUE, it enables that firing mode. If multiples are active, it doesn't matter - the top priority is available until consumed.
As you can see, the above order was causing lower ranks of HY and Spread to override better, more beneficial versions of those Modes.
The newly-fixed firing priority will be:
- Photonic Shockwave Torpedo
- Emission-Seeking Torpedo
- Transport 3
- Transport 2
- Transport 1
- HY 3
- HY 2
- HY 1
- Spread 3
- Spread 2
- Spread 1
- Basic Firing Mode
And before you ask for verification, I can anticipate one question: Yes, it is currently working as intended that HY1 take priority over all ranks of Spread when both are active.
I can't pinpoint a date that this fix will go live, other than Soon(tm).

One would think that it *should* be affected by PGen and/or Grav's.....

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
Thank you. I'll have to see if the Quantum Exploiters work for Quantum mines or if they have the same problem as for Quantum torpedoes.
Would be nice to take advantage of them.....
