I support Starfleet dental, because obviously, pwe supports Starfleet dental. All this is a slander campaign, and any screenshots or videos showing names will be reported to pwe as a violation of TOS

I feel some might be confuzzled by this last post, but in all honesty, don't be frightened. Starfleet dental is in clear here, and any posts naming individuals or videos showing names will of course be reported to perfect world entertainment as violation of the terms of use. Well, we were all discussing the same issue in the thread until somebody high jacked the thread and turned it into a 'let's all hate on one person in this thread' kinda deal. Kind of funny really considering we were discussing trolls.

I have been away from the forums for several days.
After filing a complaint with the GM I have stopped receiving the annoying Fleet Map Invites from the troll. However, I have not been informed of a way to block Fleet Map Invites. The day after Thanksgiving I started give invites from a person pretending to be olivia211. The invites were few and far between though so it has not started to become a real annoyance yet.
If it continues then I will file another complaint to the GM. I will also suggest to the GM that they should consider crosschecking IP Addresses of accounts that are receiving complaints about trolling. Cryptic's player account database should contain IP Address information for all accounts and from there obtain a list of corresponding accounts .
That should provide a list of all alternate accounts and the main account at which point the GM could issue a warning to the troll to cease and desist. The obvious consequences for failing to do so would be the termination of all accounts. With the termination of the main account the troll would loose everything he / she have worked for. While the troll may start a new account to "play" STO again, it may not be worth the effort to start from scratch all over again which could mean that the troll may decide to move on.
Of course, how Cryptic's GM decides to handle trolls is their own business. But at least I can suggest a possible solution... for whatever it is worth.

It is two very different things. You are borrowing a picture from a person in a TV show. It's a fictional character played by a professional actor, a public figure. Taking someone's picture from facebook and claiming that it is you is incredibly sleazy. People can complain about my quotes, but at least I am not playing with their real life personas. This is very troubling.

Haven't seen the video, but the screenshot proved it was not Diabolical91, it was Diabolica191. Notice the difference in the name.
Feel free to continue, even when you are providing screenshot showing you are wrong.
Really the easiest solution to most of this would be that if you have somebody on your ignore list then they can't send you private challenge/bridge/fleet map invites. I think it's kind of dumb that the Devs don't have that system in place already...
A slight extension on that (to cover more bases) would be to have slightly more in depth options for these type of invites. Including one for Bridge/Fleet Map invites would be nice for instance so you could set those to only allow from friends and fleet.

That's not what irony is. Irony is deliberately conveying a meaning opposite to what is said, or a result opposite of what was intended. Neither of these are the case, as I intended no opposite meaning, nor was my result opposite of what was intended.
I hope this contribution has been less useless to you, and in the future you will continue to grow and eventually understand what are potentially complex rhetorical and dramatic concepts like irony.

As always, do not post names or try to create 3rd party websites to post videos and names of people playing STO in an attempt to create a situation, as this is a violation of the terms of use.
No one from Starfleet dental or Nerds of Prey is culpable of any wrong doing, and perfect world entertainment can easily verify this. I feel this thread can now be put to rest.

Considering the actual purpose of this thread hasn't been met yet, I don't really think it needs 'put to rest'. It's still a valid concern that several of us have and want addressed. If you're part is done, then by all means you guys can leave the thread. Nobody is forcing you to remain.

2. Never talk to anyone in zone chat EVER.
