MI dread oddy

so i was bored an was trying to see if i could copy the MU oddys specs on our player ship.

Here is what I came up with.

Note I'm lazy and didnt bother with all the mods and rarity's on the equipment.

I don't recall it ever using THY, APB, A2SIF, RSP, or a KCB. Also missing Gravity Well.

some of those things i added since it has more higher level powers than we an have. and id does use the torpedo powers, has no healing powers other than what that I have seen and tends to die too quickly when im looking.

graqv well wont fit anyways unless i give up most of the tac powers.

I know for a fact that I have seen both Spread and High Yield, as well as seeing it use Fire At Will during the cut scene. But I have yet to see it use even a single Tricobalt, and it for sure does not have a Cutting Beam. As far as weapons go, I'm quite sure it is the default Starfleet, with the only exception being the Quantum torpedo instead of default Starfleet Photon.

I think the deflector/shields/engines/core may also be all default Starfleet, but at least twice as strong. So I'm thinking Advanced Fleet may be the closest you can get. I'm 90% sure it's not Elite Fleet, but I could be wrong.

As for consoles, skip the Assimilated Module. The others are all correct, or at least what I would use.

It's actually more like this Link.

It's true that we players can't leave slots empty, but these are the observed abilities. STO wiki does also say the MU oddy has tricobalts, though I never witnessed them being used.

The thing is if you want to recreate it you absolutely need that ltc sci because the grav well is probably the most remarkable thing about it. NPC skills are hard to translate, because the GW of the MU oddy is buffed up beyond crazy. If you sit still and get caught in it you die within 10 seconds or so. Cast a player GW on a NPC - you are lucky if they even get hold by it XD

1: Now that is near exactly what I have been seeing. I noticed the cut scene has it firing only 3-4 beams, even though it is Fire At Will.

2: As for that Tricobalt, who put that on the Wiki? I have never even once seen it use a Tricobalt.

3: Was that Gravity Well the Odyssey? I always assumed it was from one of those Trident Class.

1: Yes, it looks like 2x fore and 2x aft

2: I don't know. I could log in and chase the latest edit, but someone probably just made a mistake ^^

3: The GW is definitely on the MU Dreadnaught, both the Oddy and the Galaxy use it. In fact, both versions of the dreadnaught have the same set of equipment and abilities but I am almost certain the Oddy-variant has more HP or higher resists, in any case it takes longer to kill.

I do have an account on the Wiki, so I can make changes if you can confirm it. Simple eye-witness accounts are not enough evidence for ship builds. The problem is how to go about confirming something like that without asking the Devs directly.

combat logs; get a mirror run set up and get all the way to the end, then have one person go after the odyssey IF it spawns, then stay alive long enough to see if it ever fires a tricobalt, then let it hit

hits registered in the combat log always show the origination point

and for the record, i HAVE seen it fire tricobalts, but very, VERY rarely...like in the past 70 or so runs i've done since last thursday, i've only seen it fire ONCE, and it was a high yield

IF i ever see it again, i will likely not remember to check the combat log until well after it's been wiped, but i'll do my best

but i really do think the mirror odysseys have tricobalt launchers since the enterprise does, and you KNOW cryptic are the kings of copy-paste - they just copied the enterprise in its entirety, changed the name and slapped on a mirror skin

True some of the things I selected were for personal taste and playability, since like has been said npc ships and player ships are hard to compare. I also noted how lazy I was.

The tricobalts are from last year when people actually played elite difficulty's. So far this event I have only played standard and it dies too fast to really look at what its doing.

here, will this do? a small snippit of 5 combat log entries of vauthil station firing (and missing, apparently) at the ISS Spock's launched tricobalt device...which it couldn't have done if the ship had no tricobalt launcher

The MU Ody uses Tricobalts (Seen Highyield and Spread) on the Cutscene when it slips through the rift. In the very moment it places a GravitiyWell...

I am pretty sure a player cant recreate the abilities.

Its the same with the Enterprise and Voyager. You cant simply slot BFAW, TS, THY and Gravity Well along with EPTS and various other stuff.

What I assume is that they "Hero Dreads" have either a different BO Layout or they simply have everything Universal and probably some BO or at least a higher grade slot.

That works. The thing obviously came from the Dreadnought, so the Wiki is correct after all.
