As someone who's never seen one episode of Voyager I couldn't care less. It might be why I pretty much don't care about DR either.

I'm a lifer, can't say I am overly upset by this. Now if they FORCED us lifers to play talaxians.... lol

heaven forbid, be interesting to see if anyone takes up the offer though.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

So getting more benefits is a slap in the face?

I need to go live in a better universe where people appreciate free gifts.

    *rolleyes* another annoying species!
    ...
Shrill , with a sense of Fashion that would make Garak burst in tears
    ...
    generally... a disgusting Species
    like the Remans
    i have 6 of them :p
a shame that i have only one unused CharSlot left.
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...
    unfortunately:

    NOT LOYAL ENOUGH!!!

Well, IIRC, they had the playable Talaxian done like YEARS ago. So yeah not surprised we're getting it.

Remember, one man's reward is another man's punishment.

Now I'll have to see them. Not just in the delta quadrant, but *everywhere*

Worse, in a few years, some of them will be level 60 with full spec trees!

If they had re-species tokens, I'd probably bite on this.

Some of us bought our LTS long before this. We got everything listed as been included the the LTS, so we got "what we paid for".

So yes, everything else added over time IS a free gift to us. Where somebody newly purchasing an LTS, well no it wouldn't be a free gift to them, it would be just more they were buying.

I'm certainly not going to complain about them adding more perks for vets or lifers. It's better than nothing.

Thank you cryptic for adding more perks for lifers and vets! I for one am grateful.

    lol Talaxians

It isn't the benefit I'd hoped for but it's in line with previous added benefits for expansions (that being Lib. Borg Romulans) so I can't be too disappointed either.

I'd be tempted to use it if I hadn't just whittled down my list to ten characters.

If they had a token to change species I would change one of my guys to Talaxian he is a tiny little sort of elf looking guy (my take on an elf in STO I was being silly at the time then decided to keep him that way). I think he would make a good Talaxian.

As I posted in another thread.

I could see Cryptic actually using this as a very effective punishment. "Due to exploiting a particular system that gave you 50 specialization points in 2 days, we have determined the appropriate punishment is to turn your character into a Talaxian. Don't worry, you still get to keep your ill-gotten gains."

QFT. I bought my LTS during beta, everything else they've added since then is a bonus in my eyes. Whether I personally plan on using it, or not.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.

Just because he or she is Talaxian doesn't mean he or she has to act like a Talaxian.

Two feature I think it should have.

    1) An annoying trait option that make friendly npcs more likely to shoot at you with proximity over time thresholds.

    2) The ability to add vulcan physical traits in the captain editor.

Hmmm. Now if Talaxian species parts were also added to our Alien Species choices, I could recreate Tuvix. All would be right with the universe.

Wow, even worse then Archer?

There were only 4 seasons of Archer, we had to put up with Neelix for 7, just by sheer weight of numbers Neelix was more annoying
