I reported before, that for the first time I'd ever seen, "Foundry Asset Prep" was actually on my official schedule. It is, and it was very cool to see that, and I was excited to get more stuff in for you guys.
However, the Club 47 revamp has been more extensive than originally intended, and is taking longer. As a result, I'm going to be eating that Foundry time, as Club 47 time.
I just wanted to apologize to you guys for having to take away the dedicated Foundry time. I think the Club will be worth it, and I will still endeavor to get in some Foundry drops in my off time (after Halloween, because my costume is taking all of my free time right now).
No worries man. I know Club 47 is important to a lot of folks - including some Foundry authors I know - and once it's finished we're a step closer to getting that fantastic map put in the Foundry!
But I think it's really cool that the higher ups are actually scheduling some Foundry time. This is great and please pass on our appreciation.
Taco, there's no need to apologize. You and Zero have given us a lot of awesome things (some of which we are still coming fully exploring.) You two have done more for the Foundry in the last six months than we've gotten in the last two years.
Plus, I consider Club 47 to be another of those worthwhile (but difficult to quantify) features. There's also the fact that I see getting Club 47 as bringing us one step closer to getting ESD into the Foundry. (Who wants an incomplete ESD in the Foundry?)
I have no doubt that the new Club 47 will be aswesome, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Anyway, apologies all around.
Thanks for all the hard work! Enjoy your Halloween and I look forward to seeing the brand-spankin new club 47!
Personally, I think it's exceptionally cool of you to drop a note about this in advance Taco, rather that just going about your business and having folks go apepoop when they discover after the fact that the Foundry development time was used for something else.
Thanks for the clear and honest communication.
Now I'm really curious as to what you're doing with the Club. Any chance for a tease?

Now, this is why I love you Taco. You're a person who's honest and will tell us that you're delayed and apologise for it. Are you Canadian or something? ha ha.

Thanks Taco for all the work you do! I'm really looking forward to finally seeing that obnoxious gas cloud in Earth orbit go away with the revamp of Club 47 (yay for a Captain's Table door!).

It makes me wonder though, with all of the new toys you've given foundry authors lately what more did you have on the plate? Do tell...
I don't know if there was anything specific in mind. I have a list of stuff I jot down as I notice people talking about it (Space Stations, and now more recently, more Volumes). Mostly though, it was probably meant for Delta Rising stuff.

You have acknowledged that there's a Foundry community, you and Zero put actual hours and effort in the Foundry. You communicate.
Nothing else has to be said. There's always tomorrow . This is your job and income and you have to do whatever you do to do the best you can.
Thanks for everything and good luck with the club .
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
I know you don't do these things... It's not your job, But I'd much rather have the ability to script events, clean maps (no clutter) and 3D/in-enviroment placement than new clutter to put in.
Thanks for the efford though.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
You didn't need to apologize, we apreciate your work, and it's a face that Club 47 is highly sought after, I really hope that Club 47 will be amazing for everyone! Oh, and happy Halloween too.

I still consider it Foundry time as we can't get new new ESD in Foundry until Club 47 is finished. Hopefully this won't be the last time that Foundry is put on your official schedule.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

Then when he runs out of STO stuff in the distant future maybe some stuff from Champs.

Sure, here's a sneak peak!

...Put a Tacofangs NPC in Club 47, complete with the head.
Jk, keep up the good work!
(Though a Taconian NPC would still be appreciated)

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
Doh! I suppose it's my own fault. I did ask for a "tease" after all. :P
