New Romulan character - No republic uniform

Title says it all; just started a new Rom faction character, skipped the tutorial and after speaking to Temer, did not receive the Romulan Uniform. It was awarded, but it does not show up in the tailor, for my toon or his boffs.

    Never mind, it may be a lag issue. It appears now.

    That being said my captain can't use the Veteran coat when my boffs can.
