Does anyone else find the top level Mastery for the Eclipse Intel Cruiser to be just a bit LOL cray cray?

Granted I LOVE tooling around at over 120 defense, but does that seem normal?

Hey, it could just be me. Can't WAIT to top out the Phantom.:P

What's the Phantom's 5th ability? A death star laser? After, it looks like I personally designed the thing, so I would expect it to have a death beam.
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

I got the Benthan cruiser solely for the viral torpedo trait. My torps now disable, confuse, and utterly disregard shields for 4 sec after a beam overload. Unfffff.

Heh...it might be the only T6 ship I buy, or at least the first. I still don't know what I'm going to fly...have taken the Benthan and Hazari to SML5.

    But the Phantom...offers Reciprocity.

    Reciprocity (Starship Trait)

After achieving level 5 in your Phantom Intel Escort’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Reciprocity starship trait. While this trait is slotted and an enemy misses you in combat, you have all of your Tactical and Intelligence bridge officer ability recharge times reduced slightly. This reduction can happen every few seconds, and it cannot reduce an ability's recharge time below its group cooldown.

And yeah, flying a boat that might be limited in Tac seats while not wanting to AtB...and perhaps having some Intel action...yeah, I figure the Phantom will be a ship purchased just for the Trait (have no interest in flying the ship in general).

And there you go, eh? Mix the Phantom and Eclipse traits...throw in the Benthan and Hazari traits...could be fun. Hrmm, would still need to pick a ship actually to fly though.

OP? Perfectly engineered then. Why? Because this is Cryptic's way of for-erm-pushing T6s. Even though a T5U c-store costs 200z more. Why not push the more expensive c-stores instead? Because everyone (that counts) has those already. So they get more money by pushing an entire new ship. Oh, and they raised the level cap, so they get to charge more for these ship too. This is Cryptic folks! They do not ask "What would be fun?" first, they ask "How can we rake in more dough?".

A Defiant-shaped, black colored warship with a Death Star console, a trait that makes it easier to blow stuff to hell, and it's named Phantom?

Oh dev guys you, you didn't have to get me anything for Christmas.

Reciprocity is not an a2b, don't overreact. I believe it don't even work as a2b, its more similar to photonic officer
