Judging from the tweets coming out, it sounds like the PWE staff has been experiencing a major internet outage. So I thought I might make this post as a way to help out Smirk who may not be able to make such a post himself.
With the release of Delta Rising tomorrow, I wanted to give a brief overview of what to expect with the launch of this expansion as it pertains to the Foundry.
1) At the time Delta Rising releases, the editing tool for the Foundry will (most likely) be disabled as previous missions are republished -- expect this editing downtime to last only a short while. Republishing will be an automatic process. The ability to play missions will remain available.
2) When we do bring up the editor, the ability to review will be temporarily disabled.
This process is entirely normal and no one should panic when they can't get into the Foundry editor. I encourage everyone to be patient as the Foundry goes through this process. While I'm sure it's going to be rough without our favorite mission tool, I assure you there are good reasons for this procedure. Hang in there and see you on the other side.
*Note: This process is very much subject to change.
It is likely to take a week at minimum to come back up. Just keep checking the mission list to see if anything reappears while you have fun in the Delta Quadrant.
I find it weird they haven't yet republished spotlight missions, at least. They are always the first ones to get out. I understand they have been adding new assets to the Foundry, but c'mon, it's been like 4 days since the DR came out. After the last update, missions were being republished almost right after the patch, and I believe they were all up in 3-4 days.
I just think it's unfair they remain silent about this, they do know a lot of people love the Foundry.

They probably can't start until they get the network under control. The last two days have both been very buggy, had a lot of downtime, and emergency maintenance that runs long. I'm betting they won't start republishing them until Monday after all that's gone down so far.
I'm just waiting for it to come back up so we can get more new content in. I can imagine with the new assets coming that we will be able to do a lot more with the Delta quadrant than DR has put into it.

Mission editing and rating will remain off until we can complete the republish of the rest of the Foundry missions. Until then, enjoy the Spotlights.
and now smirk just announced the Editor coming back up...
#ShortestFoundryDowntimeEver!!!
Played "Step Between Stars" which was a decent mission, and then "Surface Tension" which.......
....which, um.
Well, let's just say I played it until it broke. /facepalm
Nice to have the Foundry back for the weekend. At this point I couldn't really care less about the DR launch.
Anyone notice if the missing item bug was fixed?
