Very Rare Swarmers from Circles in Circles??

On just one run through of this mission.....with my Klingon Engineer.....each of the consoles in the "gate room" had an option to open when i first came to them...and I landed a bunch of Purple Swarmer Hanger pets from the venture.....

But it's never happened again....is it just a rare occurance....or was I playing during a special rewards weekend or something?

Don't take this as an absolute truth, but I think that was taken away. There was a period in which it was a featured episode, but I don't think it rewards the swarmers anymore.

Yeah. I believe you can only get the Swarmers on FE rerun events, though I have not done the Mission in about a year.

You can get them in Sphere of influence. (may have been removed, haven't tried in a while as I don't have an Ob any more)

There are three Hidden Compartments in the Consoles, in the Expanse area, rewarding a version of the [Hangar - Advanced Obelisk Swarmers] carrier pets that can only be used on the Obelisk Carrier or the Advanced Obelisk Carrier. To obtain them, you must obtain the "Reconnaissance" accolade and observed all six main consoles, but you must get them before you approach the final platform and trigger off the cutscene there. Once you have interacted with all three of the extra consoles (at the dead ends), go back to them a second time to get the hidden compartment option.

I got the advanced swarmers yesterday on an alt. they're still there.

Yeah, that was an 'easter egg' they had in that mission. Supposedly on for the FE event, but this is Cryptic afterall... :rolleyes:

They are still there and available. I picked up a couple of sets a week or so ago. The only thing that isn't available is the Obelisk Carrier itself. did the character you tried to grab them with have the accolade?

The purples are still there, my last Romulan char got them on her playthough of the mission. Doesn't matter though, because she can't get the Obilisk itself to use them on until the next FE re-run.

unlesss your referring to the lobi bonus event, you wont beable to get the freebie one anymore. as rewards for the single episode FE's arent added into the reward thing like the special rewards from the FE series.

FE re-runs do have the option to earn lobi during them. I also couldn't remember if the ship was still available in an FE re-run or not: it's been a LONG time since I had to look.

My bad on that, it was a major brainfart...lack of caffeine, insert excuse...but yeah, the Purple are still there. No idea why I was thinking Advanced Blue and Elite Purple when it's Advanced Purple and Elite Ultraviolet.

As I recall, you have to go to ALL of the stations in the viewing room, somehow this unlocks a special drawer where I think you get the purple swarmers from. I did it a while back, and recall needing to play it fully and not rush through, sort of an easter egg for those of us that were more fully exploring the world that cryptic/pwe made.

give that a shot and let me know if it works for you.

My mistake, It was Sphere of Influence not Circles in Circles, see details here

yeah, but then it actually opens 3 drawers, thus potentially giving you 6 swarmers.
