Since my other thread was getting a little to long, I thought we could continue it here.
I'm going to go over the rules again.
Each player will choose a species from Star Trek that they want to play as and is allowed to bring four pieces of equipment of their choice (no choosing god-like aliens).
There is also a narrator who gives other players scenarios. Once a player gets their scenario, it is their job to find a way to make it through it using only the equipment they brought with them. Other players can team up and form an allience or kill each other. The object of the game is to reach whatever destination the narrator brings up and to survive as long as you can. The first player(s) to reach the end wins.
My Fed main, Nemesis-class living terror weapon unit designation Three.
Gear: Kevlar bodysuit. Anything more would be as imbalanced as playing a Founder.
Implants and abilities: Superhuman physical abilities (strength, rapid healing, and speed), superhuman senses (IR and UV vision, scent ability comparable to a bloodhound's, audible range 10 times that of a baseline human, neural feedback loop to prevent sensory overlord), indestructible skeleton (includes base skeleton, bladed "teeth", subdermal plating, and armblades).
Character: Agent Kalus, Federation allied Section 31 ag... erm Federation Agriculture Ministry, honest.
Equipment: One small knife, Tricorder, 1 pair of utility glasses, and one impeccable and sharp suit.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Thickets didn't die, Thickets is currently running around the alien forests gibbering madly .

I've got the weekend free. I'll start brainstorming and post something tomorrow morning.
"Great War! / And I cannot take more! / Great tour! / I keep on marching on / I play the great score / There will be no encore / Great War! / The War to End All Wars"
— Sabaton, "Great War"
Ok, so I had an idea for an "escape the underground cavern network" type deal, drawing inspiration from the 3.5E Underdark sourcebook (with technobabble in place of magic where appropriate).

Hmm, I think Kalus' sharp suit may be bit to OP as well, I might swap it out for a less snazzy version, without the embroidered waistcoat.

Frankly, you'd be better off with a good set of insulated utility coveralls and boots (e.g. something akin to an ENT or Odyssey Tactical uniform). Forget your James Bond fantasy, that suit's gonna be shredded inside of a week.

Beta Coronae Borealis II, a.k.a. Nusakan II, 114 light-years from Earth, surveyed in 2126 by a UESPA probe launched in 2101. The probe sent back the following message:
Beta Coronae Borealis II, Nusakan II. Class M, oxygen-nitrogen-carbon dioxide atmosphere, surface gravity 1.05 Earths. No indication of intelligent life.
Salty seas cover 45% of the surface. Seismic analysis indicates extensive cavern networks extending dozens of kilometers into the crust *SIGNAL LOST*
The probe was never heard from again.
The scenario:
Nusakan lies in unclaimed space. During a survey mission to determine Nusakan II's suitability for colonization, you detached from your ship in a runabout/shuttle/etc. to study it in greater detail.
During a pass over the southern continent your controls suddenly froze and you began an uncontrolled reentry. Your pilot managed to gain manual control of thrusters and got you on the surface in a crash landing at the cost of his own life. Xe will be mourned. Having worn your seatbelt,* you yourself were miraculously unharmed but for a few bumps and bruises.
When you regained consciousness you discovered that your shuttle had punched through the crust and came to rest on a ledge in a large fissure, mere meters from going over an abyss that extends deep into the bowels** of the planet. You are at least three kilometers underground with no feasible way of scaling the walls back to the surface: they're sheer rock going up to a crack in the crust, and your crash probably destabilized things as there are occasional minor rockslides; you can hear the falling material echoing back up to you from the abyss for minutes at a time.
The ship will clearly never fly again and the communications system is shot to hell, but there is a water-carved opening in the wall on the ledge you landed on, big enough for four men to pass side-by-side. Your task is to get to the surface so you can signal for help.
We'll start tonight or tomorrow.
* Also because you are a named character.
** Why is it always "bowels"? Why is it never the pancreas or kidneys of the earth?

Having crash-landed dramatically, causing massive brain bleeding and concussion, Three's self-repair kicks in and she wakes up in the still-smoldering wreckage a while later.

From here on out, text this color is me speaking as DM.
No food visible, and no good way off this ledge except into the wall, through the aforementioned tunnel through which an underground aquifer empties.
You feel a ground tremor under your feet and more, bigger rocks fall from above. It's quite possible this fissure is not entirely stable.

Assuming im not too late here i go. Im also assuming theres a bit of lee way in our species since someone was gonna be a founder.
Species: Genetic Engineered Voth (Due to the voth needing better soldiers to fight the mamals they so much despise they ahve begun to turn their bio engineering inward to some of thier own kind. as much as the voth hate to admit the mammals have some distinct tactical advantages over the voth. Despite the typical herbivorous tendencies of the voth he has been modified to be able to get greater sustenance from eating meat for in case on longer missions plant life that is edible is not readily available. He also has been modified to be more resistant to temperature changes in the unlikely event his battle armor taht helps regulate it is too damaged to function properly.)
Name: Extan
Equipment: Voth Battle Armor with cloaking device (somewhat damaged in the crash so the cloaking device is unreliable) Voth Antiproton rifle a Voth tricorder and a Large dagger that serves as a multi purpose tool.
Despite the Voth tendency towards racism against the mammals Extan feels more indifferent towards them. He feels more as if they are simply an enemy to the voth from his combat scenarios against them instead of a race that is beneath them.
"Ouch"- I wake up in a pile of debries and begin to salvage what I can once I reorient myself. I'm able to salvage all of the things I mentioned were my equipment. I then dust off my armor and get on the move.
Do we each have our own unique way of winding up on the planet or did each of us just crash there?
PM me if you've got another idea (I also thought of Iconian gateways), but that's the default entry method.
Also, fair warning, I may not be updating every day 'cause I work during the daytime on weekdays (I'm on EST) and I'm also trying to get something finished for ULC2.

I emerge from the ruins of my shuttle, first things first, I salvage the transistors from the subspace signalling beacon and pick up a survival pack, it's going to ruin the lines of my suit, but sacrifices have to be made. My glasses have also survived, I heave a sigh of relief and put them on.
Before moving on I use the last of the emergency power in the shuttle to activate the sensor grid, I end up with a partial map, energy emissions indicating other downed craft, and a scan of minor lifeforms (mainly mushrooms).
I check my supplies and move out, I'll need to find some food or water first, then see if any of the other emission trails lead to a functioning shuttlecraft.

Should be pretty cool; Three's senses are going to make her as OP as grandnaguszek's Founder was last round, though.
