The powercreep in the federation cloaking technology is humongous. They can do a lot stealthily and we have no interesting counters to their shenanigans. Can we please have the nebula console now?

Now that we are allies I don't see anything wrong with giving you the nebula console

Seriously? There are a gazillion threads on this beaten dead horse and you feel the need to start yet another one?

The answer is no and no to your next inquiry. Signed : Cryptic fortune teller ;)

The whole limiting of the elite weapons was an idiotic decision made way after the fleet system was implemented. But lol, as a Fed, I still have an elite fleet disruptor ground weapon from before the patch.

As for the console, I have no problem them having it. Frankly, i don't see what all the hoopla is. It's not like you see Fed ships left and right slotting it.

uh...Mr. Dracula, if that console affects drain (aka. sucking), you will be the first one to cry foul. Better keep in mind what goes around comes around, if' it's not you today, it can be you tomorrow, just saying. ;)

You too? I have one on a Fed as well.

    A High-Density Beam Rifle...and I dumbly chose KB3 on it as well.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Klingons would make very good use of the nebula console. Federation doesn't know what they got.

At the moment we kdf players dont need it but with T6 ships getting cloak then its a game changer but only to a point as they are not getting battle cloak.

This console is problematic, overpowered the way it's effective when used by any random joe. When more people start using this effectively, much like Inner Circle snooper builds or that taylor swift from Vice Squad, it will be impossible to play with certain KDF ships.

At least give us a counter, make polarize hull cancel the detection effect or something.

If anybody knows how to counter a t'varo snooper, I'm all ears.

I think the bigger problem is being able to use the console in battle cloak. If I see a Nebula with a glowing mission pod or any other science ship with the TDF glow on their deflector then I keep my distance but you can't get that with a cloaked b'rel. Maybe they could add -1000 stealth when it's activated?

With that said... your post is coming off as whiny and that's when people stop paying attention.

The console itself is not OP. Were you playing when people were totally undetectable? That was worse...way worse...

Lol, wow, I barely see him play lately, and he is infamous enough to be mentioned. Praise lord Cheesus and his disciples!

I have been doing that and speed has been a lifesaver. But this will not last long, when fed science captains start to play smart.

Decloaking to a science accompanied by a buffed tactical is suicide. This isn't a viable counter.

Yes this is actually my problem with this console. T'varo and palisade are very effective snoopers, excessively so. You will never see them coming, and if you do hear the TDF sound effect it's already too late for you.

Then you are in agreement with me? Battle cloak ships shouldn't be able to use this? Well, on the fed side they do. And yes, exactly like you implied it, it's extremely unbalanced.

Whether they pay attention or not, it's not my problem. Give me constructive criticism, I welcome it. Otherwise, move along, I probably didn't need that person's condescending attitude anyway.

I remember those days. You do raise a good point. Then what would be the best way to counter such a thing. Make an ability that will at least lower how far you can be seen? That sounds more reasonable.

yeah I'm really starting to like the idea of giving it -stealth while activated. It would be easier to add than not useable while battle cloaked.
