My connection has been bad since Wednesday 9/10/14

Hi all. My connection has been flaky as all get out since Wednesday afternoon. I can play fine but then I'll get -server not responding- and kicked to log-in and sometimes the launcher will sit at a black box with only 'Launcher Loading ... please wait' showing until I close it & restart it.

So ...

The ISP is WoW ... used to be Knology until they merged.

Any help/advise would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I've had the same issue since my ISP, which is WOW or Wide Open West, has had a service outage on Wednesday in my state and it hasn't been the same since. Sometimes the game works but I get a lot of SNR's and disconnects when trying to play.

I know that this is on my ISP's end and I really hope that they fix this problem cause I would really like to play with no interruptions. I would post a Tracert, but the last one I ran came up good to go but it won't hold for very long, like 5 minutes long before getting SNR's :( .

The service outage was for my entire state, which is Michigan, and since the outage, I can't manage my fleet which I'm now one of the Co-Leaders of the fleet(s) after one has decided to step down due to real life. I do feel your pain, reveranddint, as I have the same provider as you.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Live in the southeast, ISP is WOW. Game has been largely, unplayable since weds--I get about 20 mins tops before all the 'server not responding' messages start and just hang there for 200 seconds.

    An update of sorts.

Switched to using the EU proxy server and my ping went from 70-120 to a fairly steady 260. While not great, I'm not getting the ping spikes of 4k (yes 4000) that were showing up before my 'Server Not Responding' and disconnects and I'm able to play again.

    So ...

For what it's worth that seemed to work for me ... bouncing to the EU proxy is more stable than either the US proxy or no proxy.

I've been having the same issues. I live in the Mid Atlantic and have Windstream ISP. Once I'm connected I'm pretty solid unless switching zones. The majority of my issues involve getting the patcher to initialize, connect, and go through all of its steps.
