STO Launcher Changed "Root"

So I am the kind of person that likes to have my games accessible via several means, in this case STO I have the normal launcher, arc and recently downloaded Steam...

Now I came across a really nasty effect when I downloaded the new Launcher from steam...

Normally my STO launcher would launch from the root of:

E:\Perfect World Entertainment\Star Trek Online_en\Star Trek Online\

Where all 3 servers are currently downloaded to; 37.1GB total

now when I donwloaded steam, obviously the new launcher downloads the files to a new place...

in this case it's:

E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online

where once again all 3 servers are downloaded (personal preference)

now when I tried to go back to my normal launcher via the ARC one, it seemed as tho my launcher had changed it's "Root" making me download all 30+GB with no way of accessing the ones that where downloaded... I tried deleting the steam version, but yet the Launcher persists on downloading all the files to a new location, when I already have them.

I've tried deleting launcher record data files to see if it would reset, but still nothing.. so now I am stuck downloading 13GB form holodeck to a new location when I already have them...

TL;DR: Steam downloads all 13GB from holodeck to a new location, when ARC already has the 13GB in another location; Launcher will not recognize the old files, and persists on downloading new ones...

Now my question is, Is there any possible way to change the downloading root back to the previous one???

I think I avoided this by having steam version installed before arc version, I assume Arc just looked for it and decided I already had it.

Help can be far more willing to be given if you make posts in colours people can actually see and read.

On a related note I have a dodgy setup on my system as well with STO being installed by Steam on my D: drive which is local and Neverwinter installed through Steam on my F; drive which is a network drive. For some time I had issues where each time I tried to access STO I would get an error saying unable to write to my Neverwinter directory unless my network drive was connected. This obviously led me to investigating the causes of this and figure out how to solve it without all the issues of reinstalling etc.

Basically in the Registry there is a key for the Cryptic launcher at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic\Cryptic Launcher] which holds the details of which servers you access. Neverwinter being in this key was my issue. Your issue may well be one level up the registry tree at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic] where you will find a star trek online directory with a value for InstallLocation. By changing the path in this key it should repoint back at your desired install.
