Secondary Deflectors

So now we've effectively got a release date for Delta Rising - October 14th - I think it's fair to raise this issue;

Are we going to see Secondary Deflectors added at DR's launch? It seems like since the release of the Dyson ships, the addition of Secondary Deflectors and the much-needed boost for Science ships has fallen by the wayside.

Might be beating a dead horse, but i'm disappointed that there's been no news on these items since February.

    Geko an salami said at the delta rising Las Vegas launch they are coming real soon but, not with delta rising. So yeah.

    My impression is, it's almost done, but then was placed on the back burner in favor of "other things."

    Doubt it will come with the release of Delta Rising, but perhaps at a later date. Season 10 maybe.

    So, wait.....
    My computer exploded almost three months ago,
    I finally managed to bring the new one online today,
    Booting up all my old files and reinstalling everything from Windows to the kitchen sink,
    Cryptic announced a brand new expansion pack, full of crazy cool sounding features and ships...
    ...... and Secondary Deflectors are still not fully implemented in-game?!

    your only hope for a secondary Deflector is to head into the delta quadrant and buy one from neelix after he sends you on 50 missions. :D

    but seriously it would make sense that they come before DR, i hope.

    I forgot all about them, maybe we should just count them out, decide they're never coming, at least we wont be disappointed if they don't come.

    Please, they won't code 50 new missions. He'll send you on the same two 25 times each.

    Anyways...they probably aren't coming...or it's gonna be one of those things...they didn't come out with DR but they will be coming out soon...they didn't come out with season 10 but they will be coming out soon...so on and so forth.

    Probably just some gimmick they used to make the DSD's look more special and a reason why to play the Science side of the DSD and not just the tactical. They made promises to give them to all science ships but realized they aren't worth the effort...since most people don't give a damn about science ships and only worry about the next pewpew.

    People love their cruisers and their a2b and faw spam...people love their escorts with their burst and vape potential...Sci on the other hand doesn't have any special area that truly makes them dominant in a section of the game...so I don't know if we'll ever see secondary deflectors.

    I like the new T6 science vessel design. But, If it does not come with secondary deflectors and nothing else to help make it stand apart from cruisers and escorts. It will be to just another ship that is substandard to the others it is released with.

    No Secondary deflector = no money from me
