I've been playing since season 5, and I feel like a bit of a noob asking this, but how do you access headgear in the tailor? I see people running around in full MACO and Honor Guard armor all the time, but whenever I go to the tailor I can't find any headgear options anywhere. This is particularly annoying since I have the TOS Romulan uniforms and can't use the Centurion helmet.
Any help you guys can give is appreciated.

Good question. I was stumped for a little while, too.
Just go under head customization in the tailor and in the top right corner of the customization window there should be a drop-down menu with the armor type (MACO, or CC EXO, etc).
I have no experience with the TOS uniforms so I can't say anything about that, but the MACO and other helmets are unlocked in the tailor by purchasing the full 3-piece mk XII ground MACO, or omega, or voth, etc etc etc sets from their respective Reputation stores. You then have the option to create an armor uniform in the Head tab of the tailor.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
The type 1 costume doesn't have the helmet on MACO, OMEGA, & Honor Guard. You need to have made all 3 pieces of a particular set (Armor, Shield & weapon) before a costume unlock project will appear. That will give you the type 2 costume of that set & type 2 has a helmet. Making the Adapted MACO or the Adapted Honor Guard set gives the type 4 unlock for that set. Getting the Elite Strike Force optionals unlocks the type 3 upgrade for MACO & Honor Guard ... idk if there is a type 3 for Omega tho.

Hope that helps!

I just checked on my main (who has MACO type 1 unlocked) and there's nothing there. All I have access to are the standard head types 1 through 5.
