Arc slows down my PC

Good Afternoon,

Since Star Trek Online has been using Arc I've noticed a significant drop in PC performance when in-game. I personally preferred the old launcher. Is there a way that I can load up STO without having to use Arc?

You can go to where STO is installed and run the launcher (not the gameclient). Be forewarned however, that this method will become obsolete in the future (no I don't know when just that it'll happen).

What are the spec's of the system that you are running STO on ? I use Arc aswell and I do not notice any performance issues when using it.

Things to look up.

CPU/Processor
Ram
Video card *and how much ram it has*

Everyone knows that this POS called Arc does this. Just run the game without it or use Steam. Really do not understand why are they still pushing this terrible program to players.
