T6 Ship Pics?

Hi, I have seen a lot of the pics taken from the Dev Panel at STLV.

In terms of the Fed Ships, seen a T6 Cruiser and Escort, so just wondering if they showed any pics of a T6 Science ship?

    You have to wonder what made them decide to choose those designs. Which alien faction put their two cents in?

    The Fed ship appears to have two deflectors, it might actually BE a sci ship. We won't know more until they get around to actually telling us stuff.

    The Fed Cruiser looks strange, especially the Nacelles, but the Fed Escort looks awesome.

    I bet the Fed Cruiser is actually apart of the story line.

    They specifically said it was a cruiser. They did not show a picture of a science ship. I think it's likely this is just a small fraction of the ships we'll be able to fly. They did mention during the Q&A that there is a "tac-heavy sci ship" coming. Guy next to me speculated that it could be the Dauntless.

    Looking at those ships especially the Fed ships I can't help but think about Holographic technology. With the diplomatic mess Voyager made in the Delta Quadrant maybe the Federation are using holographic technology to disguise their ships to prevent the quadrant jumping on them en masse? New T6 technology = built in holotechnology capabilty?

    The fed and rom ships look like stealth designs to me. Maybe they are trying to not tell everyone in Delta that the sphere is a quick route back home. Given the generally hostile nature of the peoples Voyager encountered, I can see the merit in that.

    I can too, actually. Maybe the design of the ship is a sort of "camouflage" kind of thing where the design of the ship as it is seen from the outside isn't the true design of the ship when viewed from inside the camouflage.

    The thing about the Roms and the KDF is they dont need to worry about what their ships look like as they just engage cloak and nobody see's them anyway. Only the Federation need to hide in 'plain sight'

    In an interview the Dauntless was noted as a wish list ship... It definitely cannot be in the same line of ships shown at the panel, there surely must be a sci equivalent with the same angular design.

    By the way...

    I LOVE THESE DESIGNS! :)

    Super Slick and I guess there were thematic and maybe something to do with the abilities that will come with the T6 ships.

They said that it was a dreadnaught (yet romies got the Scimitar series) and it would require a level cap increase (like exactly what they are doing). Next you'll know, they might be saying "It's neither a cruiser nor escort; it's a battleship." But I want a battleship! Either a battle ship, or an upgrade of my fleet assault cruiser.

    Great, now that I have looked at all the pictures, the last thing on my mind is how the ships look. I was desperately trying to identify some of the actors...... :D

    Meh... I don't buy the "Hide the fact we're Federation" theory. I mean... Starfleet proudly displays ship names and registry numbers on the hull for the whole universe to see. (Except for the Dyson Sci Destroyers for some reason...)
    My guess is more adapted tech from some Delta Quadrant source. Either that... or its based on Tholian tech, which doesn't make as much sense.

    Eww really don't like the t6 ships!

    Part of me wonders if this is an attempt to move away from a star trek mmo to a generic space one?

    That said, I'm looking forward to the delta quadrant ships. Would have thought the malon would have solved their waste issues by now.

    I like the T6 Federation escort ship. Unless I can use it to level up to 60, I do not see a need for buying the ship. Its an endgame ship with the sole purpose of grinding. I would like to use the ship for leveling and ranking. I will not spend another $25-$30 on a 'grind only' ship.

    From what I read. The ships design was changed for a purpose or to deal with something. And there will be a story to with it.

    However I don't like the new designs. I rather stick with Canon or Similar Canon design ships. That we all know so well. I highly doubt I will be purchasing many of these new ships.

    I rather see a K'Vort BOP, Fed's New Orleans, Niagara, or Freedom classes. Those I would buy fast.

    Ugh sorry I just don't like what I see on those Fed ships. God why can't I just purchase an upgraded Tier 6 Oddy with my awesome bridge but new interiors and be done with it :D is that too much to ask!

    I'm kind of mixed on the escort.

    I can see the Defiant influence but I really hope we can apply the Defiant skin/parts to it.

    Cannon or not the T6 KDF and Romi Warbird look sexy as all hell. Sorry but I'm probably going to get them. Sorry about the Tron ships Feds.
