Have posted this in the " delta rising " thread but, here they are for everyone to see, enjoy...

http://stonewallvanguard.com/forums/the-stonewall-lounge/73230-new-sto-expansion-delta-rising

P.s. thanks to stonewall vanguard for this.

( please keep in mind these are concepts not final )

*UPDATE* this is from the delta rising thread, drogyn has pics of the new fed escort and, the fed cruiser looks that way because of the upcoming plot, it would seem its not the main direction of all fed ships. Big thank you to drogyn for this.

I like the angles on the Romulan ship, very stealth bomber look.

The KDF one looks like the offspring of a Vor'cha and a Bortas, with a bit of Dyson padding thrown in. Quite nice.

The Federation ship is an odd angle so not sure what to make of it. I guess it's like a heavy cruiser retrofit sort of thing, and those 4 blade shapes at the back are necells? Very sleek though.

All in all I like them, certainly much better than those Dyson designs.

    Thanks for the link!

    My Opinion:

KDF -> ok, but nothing special

    Rom -> awesome, love it

FED -> wtf is that piece of ...?

    Are you kidding?

/1998 called... They want their lowpoly model back
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

That Romulan ship looks mean... the KDF ship looks a little bit like the Pegh'qu and I am intrigued by the Federation cruiser. They also showed a new Federation escort at the panel, if I'm not mistaken.

    Fed ship looks unfinished.
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

My first impressions based on the concept art that I posted in another thread:

    LOL :D

So, they remain true to the tradition once again:

    - Klingon ship - usually spot on and this one seems no different. Robust, agressive, different and yet familiar and so very Klingon. Their, albeit rare, Klingon/KDF work is always top-notch.

    - Romulan ship - a bit too angular in the concept work for my taste and for the usuall (canon) Romulan flowing and curvy design, but still sleek and intimidating enough to qualify.

    - Starfleet ship - LULZ :D :P
I thought you guys finally got the hang of Starfleet ship designs with the Tempest, that one was flawless. WTF went wrong here??

If the Kazon ships become available to players (lock box and lobi) then I hope we also get a Kazon fighter ship in the Lobi store modeled after the Kazon fighter/torpedo from Voyager:

    http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/scans/kazon-torp.jpg

I'd love to see a fighter ship like that with a special console/ability to ram an enemy capital ship for massive shield-penetrating kinetic damage and a temporary placate without damaging the fighter (obviously with a lengthy cooldown, but it would be an awesome ability based on the Voyager episode where it appears).
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

Really like the Rom ship, leaning again on that bird wing concept. The Fed ship is gross beyond belief and another example that Cryptic do not get the Starfleet look. Time to get some designers in who really understand the simple and elegant flow of a Fed design.

They have no ideas. Or they are targeting the fisher price age group with their designs. Considering what they did do the doff gui ... I vote for the latter scenario.

Kazon? seriously? god, devs will never learn... what the hell are the kazon even considered?? knowing they are maybe the most stupid useless race ever created in a star trek show? hell, i even will consider more the ocampa and talaxians, even if they are not really an important part of the ip. I only hope they dont discard other races because they are going to include the kazon.. The hierarchy and the malon will be awesome, and thats a logical conclusion, and of course the Krenim is a must, and im sure they will be present as well. But for god sake.. cryptic, dont make the mistake including the kazon..

And as i feared, ships below T6 grade will be obsolete. That is a feeling i have in mind after reading that blog... (well, its something i ve already knew anyways).

I really don't understand why Kazon are so popular on this forum. They were a poor ripoff on KDF. They failed as a villain ... as even the Voyager producers admitted. And their ships look ugly as hell. Not to mention that on several occasions the Kazon ships are referred to as out dated.

Heck these people had problems getting water!

And the kazon ships are not even theirs!!!, the kazon ships are always re-used models of other races!! so, i mean, as i said, malon, hierarchy, devore, krenim, god i will even consider the Vidiian before a stupid choice like the kazon. The problem here, is , they are looking for villains, and they must think that the kazon are the only villians that appeared in Voyager lol.. that will be epic. I mean, the constant will of cryptic to find new enemies is really concerning, first the Tholians, even if they never were considered hostile, then the Voth, they are supossed to be neutral species from the Delta Quadrant.. but cryptic introduced em into the Solanae mistery. Now im sure they will want to make some sort of story with the kazon as another enemy.. no please cryptic... noooooo! :P, i mean they are even ridiculous weak in comparison with almost any specie of the Delta Quadrant including the Voyager xD. I just dont want to see em in STO.

Well, that is too hard. As a part of the star trek ip, the kazon should be present but in a real small quantity. Lets say as randomly enemy ships in some systems, and thats all. More than that.. noo!!. :P

Apparently Kazons appeal to the same demographic which drools over the new fisher price DOFF GUI and DSD (Dyson) ships.

Can you match the following with the three ships?

Grew up watching Power Rangers and reruns of Voltron.
Really enjoyed playing Homeworld while watching Robotech.
Would rather be working on a Tron MMO.

Need more shots of that Fed ship to make an informed decision. It looks kinda weird looking imo.

KDF and Rom fit the current and as expected designs. Nothing new there really..

It definitely looks like a Draft Model, more polish needed....

    But I LOVES it!

I have been waiting for More futuristic out of the box designs and this is defo in the right direction in my eyes... I cannot wait.

    Well Done Cryptic. :)

Looking at them it almost looks like they could be "New Accord" designs...

The factions have come together to design new class of ships.

They all share quite panelled angular appearance.

Again I loves them and I am soo Excited, especially been a Voyager Boy. :)

Someone needs to plant a bomb in that Fed ship before it ever leaves the shipyard...if you want to make a Tier VI ship just merge parts of the Odyssey and the Avenger with the Odyssey bridge and you'd have a good looking ship.
