Obviously Cryptic loves Reputations and Lockboxes. So why not combine the two into a Lockbox Reputation. Each Lockbox would contain Lockbox Marks in addition to the usual rewards.

To be fair, the reputation would need to offer something the players want and have a central theme.
Now altering the drop rate on ships is a very bad idea. But all boxes are done through the consortium a subsidiary of Quark Enterprises. So boosting reputation with them allows tiers of equipment unlocks with the tier five unlocks being a 10% savings on lobi items (Only bind to character items of course) and a lobi purchased mission that allows you to refine 100 extra dilithium a day. Mission is repeatable a maximum of 10 times.
