After listening to my rather eclectic collection of music, a particular piece popped out at me; Leslie Fish's iconic "Banned from Argo."
After a bit of playing around in the Foundry, I found that I wouldn't be able to do a fitting tribute to the song.
Note: I wouldn't.
Thus, I offer the following for the myriad Foundry folks who are better with the thing than me (read: all of them) following idea, though I expect someone else might've had the idea.
A mission whereby the player helps a minor FED or KDF colony to pick up the pieces after the flagship of the fleet (or, really, any ship) has a rather... enthusiastic.. round of shore leave.
The exact details of what madness have transpired need not be made explicit (indeed, they'd likely be funnier if nobody tells the player specifics of what happened), and the precise way in which the player helps the cleanup are best left to the minds of the narrative team. As an alternative, the players could find themselves helping to corral the wayward crews of the flagships, and submitting a... tastefully edited report to San Francisco. Or a very direct explanation; the player's choice.
For ideas as to what might occur, I suggest the aforementioned "Banned from Argo," the WWII movie "Mister Roberts," or any other form of media with a "what happened at that party last night?" plot or segment, military setting optional. Personal experience is also welcome in such things.
