After the patch we're limited to one 6000 xp research project per school, greatly increasing the time it will take to hit level 15 without dropping huge quantities of dil, anyone know how much xp is need to go from level 0 to level 15 completed?
If my information is up to date then level 15 is 630'000 so that works at 105 days (assuming you treat 20 hour as 24 and dont first off new projects perfectly on time) .
keeping in mind this can go down on a number of ways.
1) actually crafting stuff at the same time, or just before you fire off a 20 hour project.
2) critical hits will yield 7000xp and become more likely as you level up
3) using dilithium to speed up the process (there are already the level 15 items on the exchange so some people have done this)
4) there are going to be research and development weekends that increase xp by 50%
note that level 20 is the highest if you want to further improve your chances, but everything worth crafting unlocks at 15
Don't forget that crits result in 7000 instead of 6000...as your level increases, so does your skill, and thus your chance to crit. Don't forget the RLS quality will affect that as well.
I thought the big thread had been given a drama queen name with players having their usual anti cryptic tantrum, generally forums are so full of tantrums that I've grown to ignore them. I hadn't even noticed that the Doff forum section had R&D added to it.
I think more people will see the answer if its in this section.
It is easy dont use the new System and if all or many do it, they have to change it. After i see they change that and i can now only 6000 xp, my toons stop the new system.
There are already Omi Directional Beam Array's on the Exchange that are ultra rare for 100 million and up.

We can change the name of the other feedback thread if it is causing any confusion.
But regardless of where you believe this thread belongs, it is not primarily a player guide. It is R&D feedback and belongs in the appropriate forum.
I see no point in merging this thread, so I am simply going to close it. Please leave your feedback in an existing thread on this topic.

Now level 15 isn't the max, but it will be a long time and the math will be in that thread
My PvE/PvP hybrid skill tree
