I'm constantly getting disconnected from the server. I know I'm not the only one b/c 5 other people in my fleet have been complaining about it too. What is going on Cryptic? Why can't you get this disconnect issue addressed? I know you're all pushing for 9.5 but honestly ppl are going to quit if they can't even stay connected. Come on now, fix what's broken, THEN introduce new bugs to the game with releases.

You do realize that there is more between you (and your fleet) than Cryptic, right? It is called the internet and between you and the Cryptic servers are MULTIPLE connections. A [routing] problem at any one of those can cause lag spikes and disconnects.
As AnneMarie30 suggested, you should probably open this up in the Tech forums. Here is a bit of a head start as anyone responding there will ask you to do Traceroute. Once you have that completed, you will need to copy that and append to your post.
RUN A TRACEROUTE
For Windows, hit the start button
Where it says Search All Files and Programs, type CMD and press ENTER
The first result should be cmd.exe
Right-click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator
A black, command-prompt window should appear
From here type the following command:
tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com
Good Results:
Values lower than 180 are ideal for playing MMOs (and anything under 100 is outstanding). Higher values usually cause lag and rubber-banding in-game. Report any values above 180ms. Right-click in the Command Prompt Window and select all. Save as a text file (txt).
Here is an example of my Traceroute

Yeah, I noticed this too... but only affected me indirectly...
I was doing Azure Nebula Rescue last night. All seemed fine for about 5 minutes when 2 out of the 5 ships dropped out of the mission only to later re-appear and drop out again. After a while only one of the two ships kept playing. I am guessing the 5th player simply got frustrated and stopped bothering trying to log in.
I recall I got disconnected once while doing ICE. The optional objective was a success and the Borg Cube's hull strength was down to 2%. Then I got kicked out. My internet was working fine 'cuz my laptop was still downloading windows update via wireless and I was still able to surf the net on my desktop which has a wired connection.
You started an identical thread less than a month ago, didn't answer anyone's questions on how to help you then posted it again.
