Well tuesday is not over yet as sometimes blogs come later in the day, but i only expect there to be two blogs about the next lock box, and they could come wednesday and thursday, or more likely both on wednesday.
i dont think there is much more to say about the crafting.
so i still expect 9.5 and the lockbox to come thursday. why, what were you thinking?
I also noticed that the live stream on friday is going to be highlighting new content. Its a safe bet to say that it probably won't be a review session for the Thursday update (pre-launch PR more likely for next week.)

That for a Lock Box on Thursday, we'd see the initial blog for it either today or tomorrow. There's the infoblog before it drops and the available blog when it drops.
That there's more about the S9.5 R&D revamp that needs to be blogged about if it were actually coming on Thursday.
With at least 2+ blogs missing, no blog today points to Thursday not being what some of the folks out there have been thinking it might be...
...while personally I've thought Thursday was too early for some of it anyway.
Have to remember STLV is at the end of the month and they're going to want some pizazz/excitement going for that...
There's plenty of things about the R&D, DOFF UI, etc that have no been covered by blogs. Just cause some of us have been keeping up with Tribble notes, hitting up Tribble, etc, etc, etc - doesn't mean they still don't need to present that information in a pseudo coherent form to the masses...
It was kind of odd, too - yesterday - there was the Key Sale blog and Key Sale link for the blog on the launcher, but there was no GNN announcement about the blog...

I would wait till the next hour ticks over to see if new info is released and, that's why I posted about the key sale ( in mock CM style ) yesterday, I felt all info weather you like it or not should be posted.
It must be "fun" to work at Cryptic, knowing what's happening, and seeing these discussions on their forum...
Kind of makes it fun for us to, well some of us. I guess there are the folks out there would prefer it was Explicit Studios doing STO rather than Cryptic Studios.
Oh no.... not again!
The last time they were out of mugs nothing happend for 10 Months!
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...

...that sort of thing.
Smirk all-but-said in the latest episode of Priority One that 9.5 is dropping this week... specifically, he said "one more week of testing on Tribble before 'it' goes live." That was recorded last Thursday, so one week later...
Of course, plans could change... but all signs are pointing to this Thursday, IMO. Plus, they could certainly hold things for AFTER the 9.5 launch.
Actually no... a somewhat convenient time... How long does it usually take? 5 mins? 10?
Livestreams usually last at least an hour. Smirk will play through the game, give out prizes, answer questions (tons of REDACTED answers, obviously, but still)... it's cheap entertainment. Plus, if you are lucky enough to win some ZEN, well worth the time (haven't won yet, myself).

Never been good at watching "TV"... In the past 9 years, I can probably count on two hands the number of hours I've watched.
And the Zen dosen't lure... Untill Cryptic has given me the 2000 Zen stipend they owe me, I won't spend any kind of resources on anything C-Store related.
But Still... might try to watch it...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
That's what I'm leaning toward, with the Lock Box on Thursday and along the lines of what drogyn1701 said with S9.5 dropping Tuesday, etc...
Take a look at the screenshot used for the friday livestream blog. Isn't that a Xindi bridge?
I still can't see that as a retrospective look at what just came out. PR is basically a process of selling people on an idea and that's much harder to do when they have already been presented with the chance to buy into it or no.

Yes, I find it odd. I still think 9.5 will unfortunetaly hit this thursday, but it could also come next tuesday. The latter option could explain a lack of blogs.
But, as others have noticed, there's lately quite some incoherence when it comes to published blogs and corresponding forum threads. I would remind you of the very lacking Summer event blogs, there were only two this year. One generally about all of Risa and the other about the cruiser. Nothing about other rewards, specific dates of when what is and ceases to be available...
And I'm not sure they even plan more crafting (and even less any Doffing) blogs. Yes, there wasn't much covered in the three (and one about Clusters disappearance) blogs on crafting, but going into more detail isn't in line with the Risian blogs.
Overall I find communication lacking lately, be it on the forums (some shining exceptions being Taco as usual, Frost on bugs as usual and Callevista on one of his - seemingly - fortnight or so missions to comment on the costumes) or in the form of official blogs.
All this to say that I wouldn't be all too much surprised to see a new season entirely unadvertised, untested and unexplained being patched right to holodeck tomorrow.

Is it ever anything else ?
Not sure why you'd think it was a doom thread...
I don't. I was just being cheeky.

Either the server hampsters are being swapped, or they are out of mugs.
We're also out of coffee.
Oh no.... not again!

That is how I imagined The STO Server-team when "Cutting the Cord" went live...
Well... We're getting there.

Still I think 9.5 will probably be Tuesday. Major patches tend to come Tuesday, and they might be using Smirk's livestream Friday as a teaser.
Smirk has a livestream?
Hmm... probably in that... inconvenient timezone thingie... For me at least.
