Sometimes when you load STO from the Arc launcher it changes the contrast of the screen, the same happens if you al tab out of the game. This wasn't to much of an issue, I just had to refresh the screen (which I shouldnt have to do) but now its causing my graphics card to crash which is a major bug!
This doesnt happen on any other game even Star Citizen is fine please could you fit this before it breaks my graphics card otherwise when it does break i'll send you the bill.

In the main game options, under the 'Display' tab, there is a 'brightness' option which is connected to the calibration screen you were probably shown the first time you booted up. Setting this to anything other than 100% will cause the game to modify the brightness level on your screen.
Try checking your setting here, if it is not 100%, try seeing if that solves your issue.

Are you running STO at the same screen resolution as your Desktop ??? I've had some Alt-Tab issues myself when the two weren't the same...
