Accidentally dropped a mission

I was just about to begin the darkness before the dawn mission at the end of the Freedom episode when I clicked the wrong button in a hurry and dropped the mission. Am I out of luck or is thee a way to do a reset? I'm new to the game, so I'm not sure what to do.

Only thing to do is redo the whole mission

Ok, to re-start a mission, you want to open up the "Hail Starfleet" button (or Hail KDF, or Hail New Romulus, depending on your faction). Click on the "Episodes" tab, and then on the left side of the window you will see tabs for each of the main story arcs. Choose the "Freedom" one (if Romulan--if you are another faction it will be combined with the other Romulan Front missions). Scroll down to the mission that you want to restart, and choose "Hail".

The "Darkness Before the Dawn" mission doesn't give any rewards except for skill/expertise points, and it's just a few conversations with Obisek about his plans for the future, so you won't be losing a lot by skipping it and going to the next mission if you prefer (select "skip" instead of "Hail).

Be aware, any mission you can drop, you can repeat it any times you want.

Actually, some of the story arc intro missions (e.g. the intro tutorial...) cannot be repeated. And the missions that can be repeated will offer significantly reduced rewards compared to the original play-through...

Some missions cannot be repeated, but if you DROP the mission, then you never completed it, and therefore, aren't "Repeating" it. You will receive the first-time reward for completing it. Also, non-repeatable missions normally can't be dropped, anyway.

Under the missions window, the option to replay isn't available. So, I'm placing a ticket to see if there's anything they can do. It's not keeping me up at night. But if there is an accolade it would be nice to get credit for it. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Yeah, I'm piggy-backing on this thread, but I somehow did not finish the "Power Source" T5 Romulan mission correctly, and the "Hail" button is greyed out. I got marks at the end of the mission (I actually completed it twice on other alt's), but somhow did not see the "Contact D'Tan" button at the end. Now the mission is still flagged under my mini-map, and I can't see how to restart it. I went to the ruin entrance, but it's not activated... Anyone?

Go talk to the "Romulan Civilian" at the nearest transport system site.

Ahhh, I forgot to try that; thanks for the tip!

EDIT: Indeed, that was the missing piece! Thanks again. :-)
