Requisition Pack(s)

About the various Reputation Requisition packs you receive for upgrading rep tiers, (and one other place I can't remember right now...)?

What do you do, in general, with all this stuff? I thought I'd read that they were items that came from the rep stores, so that would mean you could always purchase 'em later if you wanted 'em, but now I see there are some things like Fluidic Antiproton weapons which aren't in the rep store.

I can't imagine banking -every- single requisition pack item, so what's a good guideline to use, and is this really the only way to get some of the items?

Those items from Reputation packs can only be acquired through reputation, although it is more expensive (costs dilithium) if you will buy it from Reputation store. Best thing to do is to keep those that you think you will use/need later..other should be sold to the vendors.

Fluidic Antiproton weapons are from Undine lockbox. You can also get them on the exchange.

Unless i get a voth implant, isomorfic injection or a borg neural processor, i almost always discard it. Sometimes i keep the pulse waves, sniper rifles and split rifles, but everything else... bye bye. There is no point on keeping em. And since they are character bound, unless you need em for your boffs, you cant do anything with em. And 80% of the times you will get ground equipment, if i am lucky and i get a space weapon i keep it, just in case in the future i need it. Unless it is another zz mine launcher or an useless single cannon.

You can always keep doing hourly rep projects to get those items if you want, once the reputation is finished you will always have the hourly project that will give you that reward box.

Most of the weapons i put on my other ships i don't use.

Ah, yes, that was what I forgot - the hourlies! So all is not lost at max rep.

Whew - that way if i DO find out I eventually want something or threw something away I wanted later I can always hourly-grind for it...

I like the above idea of what to keep, that's fairly close to what I do now...

Not entirely ... Some of the Rep Packs have items that ARE purchasable for the Rep Store.

So in the end 95% of the stuff ends up being Vendor Trash ... About the only things they could put into those packs that might be worth while (aside from the II's, NP's etc) are Engines, Cores, Shields and Deflectors, but guess which are the only items they DON"T ever put in them?
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh

Depends what it is: if space gear AND purple mk 12 consider keeping on the basis you might want it in the future, in particular beam arrays, these are expensive on the exchange and will cost 20K+ dil each if bought in a rep store, getting 8 of those for a FAW cruiser is expensive; Blue space gear dump; ground gear keep until you need the inventory/bank space, which you will. Its nice to have the gear to shift a ship between DBB, beams and cannons.

Most people that hang around end up with enough rep ground sets to equip boffs, so keeping every weapon is pointless.
