TaskForce Omega stuck at Tier 0

I can't figure out how to get to Tier 1.

On the left side of Reputation screen it shows Tier 0.

The status tab for Task Force Omega shows 5,600 reputation and the [ I ] box is fully lit.

In the Contribute tab, The to 4 boxes show "No Projects Available"

The bottom 2 boxes have:
"Upgrading / Claim Sponsorship (Double Reputation XP Bonus)"
and
"Add Next Upgrade"

To complete the upgrade, I need 1 Task Force Omega Sponsorship Token (which I do not have, hence the contribute button is disabled)

Clicking on the Info tab brings up a help window, where selecting "Where Can I Earn Task Force Omega Sponsorship Tokens?" brings up help text stating that a special project will become available at Tier 5 that will reward the sponsorship token.

It also says that there is a Tier 1 project in all reputations that requires a sponsorship token to complete.

This sounds like a catch 22. The Tier 1 project requires a sponsorship token to complete and that token cannot be earned until getting to Tier 5.

The Store tab is disabled.
The only thing that is enabled in the Task Force Omega Reputation is the Cancel Project button under the contribute tab.

Am I missing something, or do I have to cancel, lose all progress and start again, this time being careful not to add the upgrade that cannot be completed in order to fulfill the requirements for Tier 1?

Thanks

Look in the upgrades bit, there's one there which costs 5 marks, go for that one.

    Thanks,

I found it, but I can only add it as "Add Next Upgrade" since there is already an upgrade in progress".

If I add it, I cannot contribute to it since it is blocked by the current upgrade the "Claim Sponsorship" (that I added before I knew what I was doing).

I can add it, see it queued after the one I cannot fulfill, and then click Unselect Next to get me right back to where I was.

    :(

I finally figured either it's broken and I have to start again, or it'll just cancel the upgrade I cannot do and clicked the cancel project button.

Happily, it just canceled the upgrade and not all the progress I'd made and I'm now abale to claim the Tier 1 upgrade

    :):):)

    Thanks for your help!
