Where to find some decent ground armour?

As the title...

Are the reputation armours and Lobi armours any good (the Undine armour looks strong)?

Or should I just browse the Exchange for some decent armour?

Yes, the Rep armors are good. The bonuses to the Small Craft queues actually are worthwhile, so go give that a few cycles through and you should have the marks needed for a Ground Set. Dilithium can always come from grinding marks, or going to town on the queues and Battle Zones.

If you do Defera on a regular basis, you might want to give the MACO (Shield Heal 2-piece, buff and remodulation 3-piece), Honor Guard (Hitpoint Heal 2-piece, buff and remodulation 3-piece) or Omega (Stealth 2-piece, buff and remodulation 3-piece) set a try. Otherwise, the Dyson and Counter Command ground sets are nice for more general use, and of course don't forget you have 2 Weapon slots... which means you can mix and match the 2-piece bonuses from multiple sets. The Defera sets are okay, but since the armor is all EV Suits they tend to be better for contributing to mixed 2-piece sets than using for a full 3-piece. Unless you need an EV Suit for some reason.

    For free;

Borg line - (A Gathering Darkness) gives a Purple XI armor which is nice
Spectres line -(Skirmish) gives a nice Purple XI shield which is good against Undine

I outfitted my entire landing crew with this combo to great effect.

Well rep armors are very good.
And yes with the current shutle event you'd have the marks pretty fast. (10 - 13 runs, easily done)
But, not knowing how far progressed you are, you'd need the rep leveled (another 10 runs and 40 days of rep leveling) and the special items for all but nukara sets ( romulan rep doesn't have an armor)

My suggestion would be to go for the jem hadar set from the featured series in the beginning. (It's one of the most fun sets anyway and it's free^^)

Yeah, the armor you get from "Of Bajor" is RegHPx3 and RegSH energy dampening armor. It'd be almost equal to fleet gear if it was MK12.

The Undine Armor has pretty incredible passive hp heal. Quite suitable for offensive tac captains as a standalone armor.

Jem'Hadar Armor has quite a bit of health & shield regens. Combine that with the Omega Rep health & shield regen traits, it gets pretty funny.

The Jem Hadar set is good and combined with a pulse wave assault sufficient to handle any threats.

    Other good armors:

Some good armor can be obtained in this mission as well:

Finally, the EV suits from A_Step_Between_Stars are decent as well.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
