kits with universal slots???

i was playing undine ground and see this tactical catian using mine barrier skill. ok wtf happend here that skill is for engines profesion ,then some one toll me there a kit with universal slot .my question is the name of that kits??? for using any skill of 3 profesiosn

    If it allows you to use a module of a different profession, then it is most likely a bug. That said, I think there is a tactical kit (not sure if there is an equivalent for the other professions) that has a sort of universal slot in that it can slot either of the two tactical kit module types.

    It could also be someone trolling you, or your eyes playing tricks on you.

    no trolling i click over toon and show me tactical logo and was using other tact skill too

    As I said, it could also be your eyes playing tricks on you. Perhaps someone behind him used the mine barrier? Or it could be a bug/exploit. I don't have the kit I was talking about, so I can't try it.

    The closest to a universal slots the kits got is one that can be either / or of a profession. So if some Tactical Kit allows you to use Mines, then that surely is a major bug.

    Universal slots would allow a Tactical Captain to use Mine Barrier, but I doubt that there is any Kit Frame that has the Universal slot at this point in time. There are Tactical slots which allow either type of Tactical Module to be used in a particular slot and each Fleet Kit has one of these types of slots.

    Cryptic has said there are no kits with universal slots, and no plans to introduce them anytime soon.

    That would be awesome! i hope that isnt a bug, ive been wanting stealth for my eng so it resembles the proto kit from my fiction.

    If that is the case, then they are either lying or it's a bug/exploit of some kind as the others have said. There are no kits with 100% universal slots. At most you might have an 'engineering, or tactical, or science' slot, meaning you can slot any ability from that respective career.

    I mean seriously, if they ever did that, you would suddenly start seeing stuff like:

    Engineers using Ambush on their Orbital Chasing Beams (I'm already OP with that with what I can do now, can anyone say 700 damage per second?).

    Science officers using Overwatch for another debuff (and possible cleanse if using the DOFF).

    Tacs laying down super-buffed mines, turrets, etc.
    I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
    I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

    then you can check their inventory... except when they put it on classified.. you have to be logged in in gateway before though.

    Use the Omega Ground set to have stealth on any class.

    wow, point taken...but that would be something to see! lol T-rex taken down solo in a couple of min would be possible!

    I can take down (( did is yesterday)) a T-Rex solo in under 3 minutes using the follwing Setup:

    Destabilized Tetryon Pulsewave Rifle

    Jem hadar ground Set XI

    XI Medic Kit with all heals and nanite health monitor

    Gambling device buff


    Armor prof maxed , medic maxed weapon prof maxed.

    On flanking + aiming mode i can do up to 920 dmg on hit.


    all you need to do is move, heal , shoot, repeat.
