Can't Login To Sto! Please Help!!!

I'm trying to log into STO, but after the Cryptic screen comes up, nothing happens, and after a while, I get this Error Message:

"Fatal Error: Unable to initialize on-demand patching and connect to Patch Server: The connection was idle for too long."

What do I do? I already have STO running as administrator, is there something else I can do?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Have you tried turning off on-demand patching in the options settings of the launcher?

what has been working for me when I have one of the many issues getting into the game is to delete all the log files. Usually after that I can log in as normal

which AV are you using and have you tried to disable it temporarily while opening STO?

    Nerf is OP, plz nerf
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

I did yesterday and it worked, but I'm trying today, and it isn't. I still get the error.

Which folder in the game do I find this log file(s)? And what are they file names?

Technically, your 'Trace Route' results are showing excellent latency values, so this isn't the issue...

So whats more important would be the 'Net Test' results, as this would show if you can establish a network connection, have the proper network ports open in your firewall, and if you can sustain the network throughput from the patch server...
