And I suppose 48 years of Star Trek history, and 5 television shows and 12 movies doesn't make it as simple as "whipping up a story and BAM!" ?
There's a big difference with that. It's called Legality. There's only so much Cryptic can do. They can't touch the JJ Movies and using anything from the novels require extra work to get through. So, not only do they need to plan things out, they need to make sure CBS is okay with it.
It's highly possible that Wizards of the Coast is a lot more lenient on their leash concerning Neverwinter.
Besides, looked up STO's timeline on the wiki (not fully updated, but...)
2010: Seasons 1-3
2011: Seasons 4-5
2012: Seasons 6-7
2013: Legacy of Romulus, Season 8
2014: Season 8.5, Season 9, Expansion 2
Besides the first year, it's always been two major updates a year. So, it's nothing surprising.
Nope, I'm allergic. I like cats, and they LOVE me. I assume because they can sense my allergy.
Cats can sense when people are ill/uncomfortable. Then they often try to make you feel better. But... they're not smart enough to know when its their presence that makes you feel bad.
