a year in the game and still dont know

about....... PINSTRIPES how do i get these to stand out

these r of ships i saw in game.... i have seen soverin classes with them but mine has none

ps how do i chose a custom avatar insted of a sto logo like borg or klingon or fed

    Go to User CP (top left of forum). then go to Edit Avatar.

    The very far right option of the ship customization screen lets you specify different "decals", so not sure if that's one of the options? Also sometimes hitting 'random" will give you more of an idea what the different decals look like (sort of) ...

    Also sometimes the lighting in different areas can have strange effects on what colours stand out what doesn't, sometimes you have to play around a bit to find a combination of Decals, Decal Colours and Lighting to get the look you want.

    Lighting gets especially weird with the Reman shield (also the Reman 01 material, which is basically the same thing) and the Mirror Romulan material. The iridescence of the materials make them appear to behave strangely in comparison to more "normal" materials, like the pinstripe on that Delta Flyer.

    The difference is literally that one side is directly facing a bright light source and the other isn't. If you turned off the Reman shield's visual effect (exposing the normal Starfleet material), you would easily see the pinstripe on both sides.
