Is the Constellation class already in game? or should i say in the Veteran award because i just saw the Constellation Saucer with the engines of the Cheyenne class or maybe the Dakota class in space dock.
Yes and No. The art assets are in the game, and they accidently gave us the Constellation saucer for the MU Heavy Cruiser -- so it's established fact the assets are there, and designed in a way as to be able to be used by the playerbase.
But they removed the Constellation saucer option (it was not intentional), and haven't said a word about when or if we might get the Constellaton-class.

Well, in a recent podcast with STOked (or Priority One?), Geko said we're probably going to get it on Captain Picard Day (June 10th or 16th?).
Member since November 2009... I think. (UFP) Ragnar
I saw a thread where it was speculated the Constellation might show up on Picard Day in June. We fans like to speculate.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Don't forget to follow them on Twitter too.
I am going to get you two Granpas a nice sweet tea to enjoy on your rocking chair on the porch.

Remember when companies released news and information on their own website and forums so their customers could easily find it and thus have a reason to pay for the upkeep on the website and forums?

I am quite certain Cryptic does that. They are called Dev Blogs. Hinting about something forthcoming is not the same thing as getting direct information about it. Geko hinted about the Constellation in a Podcast - thus the speculation as we wait for the actual information in a Blog.

Previews about previews seem convoluted and unnecessary.
At the very least provide transcripts of said interviews in the GNN so I can use them as ammunition in forum pvp.

I cannot speak for you but I enjoy getting hints from Devs in many different games. The speculation is part of the fun; and the facts always eventually get to us. Gamming cannot be just all crossing Ts and dotting Is. To each their own.

Speculation can be fun. It can also lead to ignorance, misinformation, rumor, and no small amount of DOOOOM.
Gaming can't be all crossing T's and dotting I's. But when it comes to information about the game, I like easily locatable and citable sources.
Essentially, I want to spend more time playing the game than looking throughout the interwebs for something someone said about this one thing that someone asked about on another website that was linked to a podcast on a twitter account of someone who was following a dev who passed out at 31 Flavors last night.

I firmly believe that deliberate obfuscation from developers and PR people is the primary cause of DOOOOOOOOOM, accounting for easily 75% of it. And that's being generous.
The funny part to me (in a "sick, twisted, warped kind of funny" way) is all the PR people and dev types who throw out little teaser tidbits to promote that fun speculation, then get surprised when the speculation goes waaaaay over-the-top like it always does. Here's a clue for them all: If you don't like what happens when people speculate about your deliberately-misleading hints, don't give them the start point! If you don't want people bungee jumping off your building, heaven forbid you take the bungee jumping platform and tie-off point off the roof, y'know?

on what escort?
Oh, you're one of those types, eh?
Yeah, me too. Why waste money on a web site if all your news is going to be on Facebook or Joe Blow's Fanboy Podcast?
