Colonial and Recruitment Rep

What are good ways to work up more Colonial and Recruitment Duty Officer assignments? I seem to only ever find 1-3 Colonial a day, and I do pick up the recruitment missions from the Academy as often as I can.

Are there other ways, or methods to increase the number of Assignments a day?

For the Colonial assignments, visit the exploration sectors. You should find several different assignments in each sector. I worked my Colonial up while doing missions in the Exploration sectors doing Strange New World.

    Thank you very much.
I'm finding quite a lot of Colonial Doff Missions just by going to the various "exploration" zones. Like Delta Volanis, B'Tran, Khazan etc. :)

Yeah, those two are the slowest to rank up... At least for me. My Fed Toon's commendation levels are either 3 or 4. However, I am only at level 2 for colonial and recruitment.

I try to do the colonial chain missions to rank them up now. Getting a purple Doff is enough insensitive for me to rank up colonial. As for recruitment, I just continually do the Doff recruiting missions as often as I can. I have no use for white Doffs so I sell them on the Exchange. I am not in a fleet. Sometimes when I see person mission for a Boff I do them. Most of the time they are worthless so I just dismiss them.

Solanae Sphere, send recruitment squad back to alpha quadrant for yadda yadda. Or downgrind some greens at the academy into whites (free). (Doesn't matter what you do with them after that, feed 'em to a starbase, sell em, whatever.) And assist karemman/paradan labor teams or whatever it is in the cardassian sectors.

As above putting unwanted "greens" and Blues" in the "grinder" will earn Recruitment XP points.

Also, although "feeding" white DoFF's to Starbase projects earns you Fleet Credits, if you aren't in a Fleet, or there are no projects, or you don't need FC's ... Using the "Dismiss" button on any DoFF, will earn you a small amount of CXP, Recruitment XP and Dilithium.

Did that a couple of times, I'd rather get the EC vs. the pathetic reward for dismissing Doffs... then again, I have only done that with white Doffs.

I might try downgrading a green Doff into white doffs and then sell 'em on the exchange.

I just finished recruitment from down grading green diffs to white. Got 50 per assignment. I use the white for fleet projects.

Multiple colonial assignments in the nebula's.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

If you press "L" to check on the Available missions tab you should see a mission called "Explore Strange New Worlds" from an NPC. The KDF version is called "We Need Breathing Room". That mission is used in tandem with other missions to explore nebulas / unexplored regions that the same NPC offers. These nebulas / unexplored regions are where you can go to get a lot of colonial missions. They also have colonial chain missions as well which is a series of 7 missions which appear randomly.

In colonial chain missions you basically establish new colonies for your faction. The 7th mission in that chain is called "Renown" (15 minute mission). As a reward for establishing new colonies you will receive a purple Doff. Once you have completed a chain, there is a repeatable mission that randomly appears called something like "Support Colony Efforts" which is a 4 hour mission. Success means you get a refugee (KDF = prisoner), a critical success means you get the same exact purple Doff when you did the "Renown" mission.

Here is a link to all the "unexplored regions" and the purple Doff you will get for completing the chain mission.

Regarding the "Explore Strange New Worlds" / "We Need Breathing Room" mission mentioned earlier the premise is you go scan anomalies in the regions. You need to find and explore 3 worlds to complete the mission. The reward is 1,440 dilithium ore. The explore missions could be combat or scanning in space or on ground.
