Just finished the mission to get my "Shard of Possibilities". Loved it. Makes me remember back when we got awesome missions like this, with VO and all. Anyways I was thinking. Wouldn't it be awesome to have more missions where we were on the outside of our ship or fixing repairs on ESD. Klingons could have missions to fix the New Shipyard above Q'onoS. After the undine blew up their old one in the FE.
What this would do more than anything is add scale to the game. With ships like the Scimitar and Tal shiar battle cruiser I feel that game is out of its proportion. The Galaxy, Sector space even planets seem small. When actually there Huge. To give you some Idea as to what I mean. The next time you do a episode. Do it in your shuttle zoomed up close. It might be hard but not impossibe. Above all it will be Fun. Being able to walk around on your ship to install a new shield or weapon would be awesome. This option could be added to the customize ship option in the shipyard at ESD.
Its been a long time since I done a complete play through of the "Cardassian struggle". Makes me remember why I feel in love with the game to begin with. The pain of knowing we won't get this quality of mission again is heartbreaking. I just don't understand it. Cryptic claims Sto had its best year in 2013. So if their making more money why are we not getting more of these. Sorry, I just couldn't help but th throw that in. IYO would you like to see more on Foot space missions. I know I would.

Not if it meant moving at a broken-legged hobble like that hideous trudge along DS9's hull. Nevermind doing something that painfully dull while some lackwit insisting on radio silence hails you with "Kurland here" every 30 seconds or so.
I'll gladly take a pass on further snail's-pace hull crawling, Kurland or no.
