Since the last patch, which seems to generate a bit more disconnects for certain players... well, we've noticed that the borg seems to hit a lot harder. Their normal hits are the same, but their crits are so high, I fly a tank with 60k hp, armour designed for the borg, same as shields, with shields at 12k per facing... I can take a hit prior to the patch and be okay... might lose shields, 20-30 percent of the hull... now they just blow through my shields like they weren't there and dismantle my ship in 2-3 hits. Checked the logs and boy do they ever hit the crits.
I like it... my team had 3 10k+ dspers in... and we did cure... and we died quite a bit... taking hits that we could normally absorbs... but not here. It took us longer to complete Cure than normal due to the deaths. We said "Finally, this is harder!"
It did for a short time after the launch of LoR. It was reintroduced, unannounced, 2 patches before season 9.
It also doesn't help that I do believe people are putting 3/4 of their space traits solely into offense. Maybe the Rom emergency shield trait as the sole defensive one :P

STF Borg cheat. Its an established fact. Sometimes even the exploration encounter ground Borg cheat with burrowing ability that allows them to shoot you and not get shot.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

You LIKE that?! . I'm curious... why? Dieing and respawning is something I and many others find simply frustrating. For one thing it ruins the instance. If you die and then "magically" respawn so you can once more enter the fray you've left Science Fiction behind and entered the realm of "wizard magic". it's a holdover from the D&D type of MMO and really shouldn't exist here. Moreover it doesn't make the mission more challenging, just frustrating. Puzzles to solve would make it more challenging. Timed runs, maps that are never the same twice, missions where the parameters change each time... those would all prove challenging. Dieing and respawning is just frustrating and frustration is the opposite of fun... :mad:

because if I die, then Kang is unprotected on one approach. It spreads the team out more and makes it more harder to complete in time with no damage to Kang
Good if they are, I want to see the Borg get harder in STFs and not the cakewalk it is now, maybe add different ships coming through in ISE and KASE or random ships warping in to engage as an addition to spice things up as you never where or when they will attack

same as Hive Space... sometimes the borg goes lance crazy with 100 percent aim, 10 seconds cd... sometimes they're working as intended
