hi I'm trying to get a well's class temporal science vessel for my new toon and would love to fly one again since it's one of my fav ships. I've tryed opening the temporal lockboxs but havn't been successful and also checked the exchange but the prices for these ships is really redicoulus didn't they used to cost like 8'00'000 or some thing like that. So was wandering if any one know a better way of getting a well's class science vessel?

oh and my other toons own the wells class ships that I got way back just wish criptic would come up with a way to transfer these ships to another toon

    Buy Keys.
    Sell Keys on exchange.
    Profit.
    ???
    Buy Wells Class.

If you're feeling lucky you can buy a load of keys and temporal lockboxes and see if you hit the jackpot. If you don't feel lucky enough, you can pay the price for a ship someone else has won.

    Those are the only options.

They've never been cheaper than about 50 million.

The odds of getting one from a box are pretty low. You might as well save up the EC for one. Dil -> zen -> keys -> EC

Bought mine for 154 million EC. And i only bought it for the Tippler Cylinder and the skin option.

    Yeah...it takes a while.

200 temporal lockboxes opened and I gave up and sold keys and bought one off the exchange.

Keys are going for around 2 million ECs each; so if you need 100 million ECs you will need to sell roughly 50 Keys.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

If you're going for the whole Temporal experience and want the lobi set, you'll need lobi anyway, so might as well open Temp boxes. If not, save EC or buy keys and sell them on the exchange, like mentioned before. Though I've had great luck with Temporal boxes, getting the science vessel o two different characters after only 5 on one and 20 something on another toon. Terrible luck on other boxes though. Remember, you can also sell a lot of lockbox loot.

Took me several months to buy mine. I grinded up dil in the Voth BZ on 7 alts and then turned that into keys which I sold for EC. I bought mine for 145m, but last I checked they were well over 200m now. I don't feel it was a waste of time though, I love that little ship. So much fun to fly.

If they're 200 mil~ that is about 74 keys (most recently sold some for 2.7 mil) which is about 8,375 Zen or $83.75 without bonus Zen (the $100 amount would be the best option for the $6 bonus Zen). It all depends on prices of the two objects, but unless you really want that specific ship the Vesta is an excellent alternative and you can get the bundle for about half the price of the Wells.

I'll be honest, I have both the vesta and the wells (he was at 60m when I bought it), and they are VERY different, the fact they both of them belong in the sci ship is pretty much the only thing in common.
The Wells is a sci focused ship, where you'll probably use DBB or boradside beam banks, while the vesta is an sci escort of some kind.

You might want to grind lobis, sell a ship from the lobi store and buy the wells with the money. Ask what the player want before buying a lobi ship. With the current FE event you will make about 200lobis, if you have some by yourself, it might be interesting that way.

Keys were under 200 when I was selling so I sold about 70+ of them. Now building lobi for the sci destroyer just to equip the manheim device for completion sake. (already have the Aeon)

200 boxes! So roughly 200M - 400M EC (or 19k - 23k Zen) worth of keys. Cryptic should send you a Thank You fruit basket! :D Wish I had that much disposable income to gamble with. :(
